It's a ridiculous contract for a guy like Kiprizov, certainly but also the cap is going up and don't forget that what these guys make is a fraction of what the owners make. I'm not as "ATHLETES ARE ALL GREEDY PIGS!!" as some people. Careers are short... Take the money if you can get it. Having said that, this really fucks with where the bar is for guys like KConn and McJesus... Kiprizov is absolutely not worth this money.

The vast majority of the calls were people screaming blue murder and Osh told them they should let the team and the league know exactly how they feel. Yes, he is on the rules committee... Which were not consulted at all.... And that's a huge part of why he's pissed, I'd bet.
