Stan-Dobson-Eli-Paddy-Yosh (Gray 6th/Rotational) is the OL I want to see. I understand that the Koala signing likely means some of those pieces are on the way out (unfortunately) but in a perfect world, that's the OL I want to see on the Bombers. Koala is not better than any of the listed, regardless of what the fancy stats people want to trumpet. also:

100% this. This is why I was upset with the contract.

obviously a huge fan of the incoming Strevolution.... and what a deal on that contract. Quasi-necro post here, but since it wasn't really mentioned a couple pages back.... the Koala contract might be the worst in KW's tenure here. Gave a pretty sizeable raise to a guy that is maybe the 7/8 OL on this team. They must be expecting to lose at least one piece or maybe two (Gray/Yoshi) and paid out of desperation. Either way, looks super ugly.

I'm hyper about Bombers merch. Always on eBay looking for classic stuff. One day I will find the perfect Dunigan 92-94 jersey, which is a bit of a white whale for me. For this season, I really have to figure something out. My "early 90s-era" Walby jersey, that I adore, finally got signed midway through '22, and I personally believe you should NEVER wear an autographed jersey, so up on the wall it goes. Since then, though, I've been in a rut. I decided on a "Coach Buck" jersey from when he was QB, that I bought off eBay, but it's back to back devastating GC losses in that jersey, so I'm thinking it's going to be retired this year. I have a Harris 33 in white that I've had buried in a closet until he retires.... I have been toying with the idea of making that my game day jersey this year, if he's officially done. I am also due for a new one with a more current player........ Collaros maybe? One of the OL boys (Yosh could be cool)? Demmer the local, who I've loved since his Bison days? Strevolution now that he's back?? Lots of options and I'm torn... but a few months yet to figure it out!

The Fort Hew thing goes back all the way to when they started using the For The W marketing slogan. Someone recognized early on that when used as a hashtag, it runs together as Fort Hew, which made sense as a great nickname for the stadium. Then there was the Moose prior to that Banjo Bowl game, whatever year that was, that got loose near the stadium and held up traffic, and he became Hewie The Moose. It just goes back SO FAR..... and I (along with most of the diehards/regulars) have been using it ever since. At least 6 or 7 years now.

For me, Sergio might be the most important FA we have remaining...

A shame we have to live with forever....as the famous meme says, "... I will never recover from this..."

^^ 17to85 rolls up his sleeves and cracks his knuckles...

Awful news. Loved Malveaux when he was here. 47 is way too young...

There is not one person who is MAD at BO (whatever the hell that even means). There were some who didn't love the SoMed post, but even they admitted it's likely a generation gap thing. Most have said that if he wants to try and reset the market for RBs he's welcome to do that somewhere else.

Well, we still don't know if Jeffcoat is coming back either.... Lots of talk that he might retire. That would change a lot of things.

Barbie is full marks for the message or delivered. I only wish that message reached the bros it needed to. Incredible movie with the perfect message at the perfect time.

He signed through 2025 last year (3 year deal)

Again, we have Haba and Fox, who can fix a lot of problems..... IF they can see the field.

Booch will go postal....

Oilers and garbage human beings as reclamation projects.... Name a more iconic duo....

And this is what a lot of us have been talking about, re: improper use of ratio. Haba and Fox.... Get those boys on the field, whatever it takes.... EVEN IF... GOD FORBID... WE HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE NAVY SEAL WHO WAS A WALK ON EVERYWHERE HES EVER BEEN.... (hot take, hot take...)

At the risk of assuming I'm NOT one of the egregious voices.... Those takes are spot on for the insane elder statesmen of this 'board....

Forgot about Fox... He's absolutely a guy I want to see starting regularly this year. Hope he comes into camp fired up.

I don't think it's that they don't recognize it, it's just that players like Stove and Nevis don't grow on trees and the USFL/XFL were making it harder to recruit. I'm hopeful this year sees more US recruits coming north.

Walker was a poor man's Sayles I think. Nevis was a poor man's Stove. But the two pairings should not be mentioned in the same breath.

LOL!! The Bombers have not had a true DT since Stove. Sayles and Walker are "adequate"....

Congrats to Woogie, gettin hitched!

Dom Wooganowski.... was never going to play anywhere else. I know that it can sound like bullshit, but the last time he signed he said that he's not going to play anywhere else in the CFL. That he'd retire if the Bombers didn't want him anymore. He just wants to live in MB, play music, and a bit of football on the side. Glad he's going to (likely) finish things up with the '25 GC...
