I'm wondering if they've talked to Mason Bennett representative already and found out he wasn't coming to Wpg so they figured Jake is better than what else is out there....??

apparently Jets were in on Lindholm but the price was too high. This was their second choice. Figure he'll 2C between Ehlers and Perfetti...

Reinebold took a job coaching in Hawaii two or three weeks ago....

sigh.... I'm as big a fan of Jake's as anyone..... appreciate everything he's accomplished.....but man, couldn't this money have been spent on Mason Bennett?hey for what it's worth I really like Cadwallader... not one of the stars, but an unsung foot soldier for sure. Also, that 1992 jersey with the 125 patch.... yewwwwwww! What I wouldn't give...I still have a lot of leftover hate for "Money Hands" from his fLames days..... unsure about this. Have a friend that's a rabid lifelong Habs fan so I'm waiting to see what he says about SM's season so far...Pilodeau is likely the only guy and he's not enough...Houston is a massive TV market, is my understanding, and a big part of why they're next up...I don't know what Harris did or didn't make, all told, but I would not trust rando podcasts for anything...I'm curious how much, if at all, the Bombers worry about the optics of letting a local kid who's involved in charities, etc, go elsewhere.... there's a lot of dumb people who don't necessarily understand the dollars and cents of it all, and just see the Bombers not willing to bring him back. I know we all don't really care about that, but I'm curious how much the Bombers think about it from a PR standpoint...Milt said something the other day about thinking that Oliveira is going to be in BC this year... not sure exactly why he thinks BC specifically, but... for what it's worth, anyhow......250k for a RB...... good gravy. How far we've come......Source: Hodge reading Mike's posts....I'm not allowed to respond to this... Too many demerits.feels like Yoshi is a guy that should be a Bomber 4 Life, but what can you do, right?fwiw....I'm definitely good with RedHawk at SAM and not averse to a Hallett at S... I think most of us felt like Kramdi got better and better with each snap.forever and for always, it shall be Fort Hew....whenever Eli was in last year, he looked REALLY good.... as Dave mentioned, he was a road grader. And as Booch has talked about several times, Eli was a highly touted NCAA prospect that is a natural C. Koala doesn't have anywhere near the pedigree. Now that's not to say that Koala hasn't developed, but I just have a hard time believing that Eli isn't the guy who should be starting at C for us in 2024... if we lose either Yosh or Gray or both, then maybe Koala has to be a G or the 6th guy....because Osh overly favours vets? I don't believe Koala held the 1C spot because he was better than Eli..... but that's just IMO, and as we've always said, the average fan knows almost nothing about the OL. And that's fine... I'm just eyeballing it, but thats' what it SEEMED like to me......am I wrong for remembering Ruby as a total bust right from Day 1? Like, that's my initial thought about him is that he's been a turnstile since he came into the league...
