Noeller

that would be really really dumb

I had a feeling that was the 3rd move Jackubec was talking about..... yewwwww! What a day...

also, fwiw........

did we know about these two:? The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed two American receivers in Kody Case and Tyler Adams.

Montreal's guy was the only comparable to Schoen/Lawler, and he's gone to the NFL....

some details: Installing new turf at IG Field is part of the Winnipeg Football Club’s commitment to providing the best possible conditions for our football and soccer players. Field Turf Vertex- Core 1 is the highest quality turf system and includes CoolPlay TPE infill, designed to reduce heat build-up in the summer months. The turf will be FIFA Quality Pro certified upon completion. “We are thrilled to partner with FieldTurf for this important upgrade to IG Field,” said Wade Miller, President and CEO of the Winnipeg Football Club. “This investment is part of our ongoing capital improvement projects to the stadium and will be a great new surface for our players as we prepare to host the 2025 Grey Cup.” The project is underway and is slated for completion in early May, just in time for the 2024 season; to provide ample time for completion, Valour FC matches and Blue Bombers games will be scheduled to begin the last week of May.

I seem to recall Booch or someone talking about how the Bombers really needed to get this done, as the existing turf was really starting to show its age...

Hodge (for whatever that's even worth...) says they're close to a deal on Cottoy, too....

just pour les lulz.....

interesting that Stan took a cut.........

interesting story... never played college ball, so he's getting a shot in the East-West Bowl:

and he lives in Regina "full time" (when he's not in Winnipeg coaching) so going to TO seems like a bit of a stretch, especially at this point in his life.

This is the worst thread in many many months...

a classic old man thing to say...

these are the same thing because it's currently Walby......... and the answer is yes. Stan in his prime was better than Walby in his prime, and that is the highest praise I can heap.

huzzah! Stan The Boy Bryant!

when the news is regularly as shitty as it is over there, the bar for "good news" is extremely low.....

The last thing I ever want is to sound like IsoSFAl or KBF..... spaghetti monster help us all........

hope this is a small domino that triggers another announcement soon... because I'm tired of every other fan base getting some good news lately!

Jesus Christ I am so ******* old.....

I'm trying to decide if you're just hearing about this now, or.........? Hamilton broke this news last week...

I was gonna say... Never even heard of two of those guys.
