Elgersma should play in the UFL this spring and see if the NFL comes sniffing around. UFL training camps start up next week so we will know soon enough if he plans on going that route.

They could have just released him, which is what most teams would have done. By transferring Ceresna's contract to the Bombers, it eliminated any opportunity for a screw up.
