Sherman didn't steal anything, he simply did an OK job and because of ratio reasons is still there. Rest assured that if it weren't for the ratio Sears would have been back there as soon as he was healthy.

Update had a few good segments, the new guy is a good standup for sure, hopefully that translates into some sketches. The Marvel can't fail bit was good, and the NFL stuff was decent but the rest of it was just such a mess.

While I'd like to see Sears on the field as much as possible. If bruce is healthy he should play. He's been arguably our best DB this year. He most certainly has not. Randle has been the best and I don't think that's really up for debate. Johnson has been good no question about that, but has he been better than Washington? Not sure I can go that far. Was he any better than Sears was? Don't think I can say that either, has he been better than Leggett? Dunno about that either. Really what we have is a secondary that have all been doing quite a good job. Sears I wouldn't replace though, too much of a playmaker, gotta make room on the roster for guys like that.

because he has had a bad case of fumblitis througout his career. So that's why they are keeping him around? So he can fumble some more? Adrian Peterson used to fumble on a regular basis but he fixed that problem, so why can't Volny? they are obviously keeping him around because they like his work on special teams and feel that in a pinch he can handle the load, like if there's an injury in the game he can fill in. You realize that teams need depth players right?

Darian Durant will be back soon...

Bombers add two REC - Rashad Lawrence and Justin Wilson17to85 replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion are they better than the people they brought in during the offseason? Do they have a chance of actually cracking the roster?
-
Sure they can, Durant has a history of always playing great in the playoffs. and by that of course you mean he has a history of beating playoff chokers right? Lots of wins vs. Burris in the playoffs.

Could they win in those places with a healthy Durant?

Why would Taman leak info about the offer for a player that was supposedly rejected knowing that a large portion of the fanbase can't stand the player in question? Sorry not buying it, Taman has nothing to gain by that. There is a very good reason the media in Winnipeg absolutely loves Brendan Taman still, it's because he is very open with them, he always told them a lot. It's part of why they hated Kelly and Mack so much, both guys basically told the media to go **** themselves. If you honestly think that Taman would leak his offer that got rejected for a player a lot of fans hate then I guess there is no use arguing lol. Better go back to the echo chamber at riderfans then. We all know how Taman operates, we had him here for years. He is really open with the media types, it's why they like him.

Well with Chambers out for the rest of the year they likely needed someone.

At this point I just can't see any teams other than Ottawa trading away QB depth. On the other hand, if they offered a first rounder for Brohm... Well Montreal might be willing to part with Brink or Smith... but does that really count as depth at this point?

It's funny that you accuse Madani of being a franchises media mouthpiece and then quote Rob Vanstone of all people as your source for Durants health.Vanstone provided his source, Durant & the team.No bias there.Who would you rather have as a source for Durant's health? Not the point, the point here is spin, you know, what you are doing. They're putting a shiny happy face on things so the fans and team don't panic. "Don't worry Durant will be back soon and it'll all get better" any thing to take the minds off the shut out loss. That conspiracy theory makes no sense. Are you suggesting that the Riders medical staff are being dishonest so they can give Riders fans false hope? Sorry but that is tinfoil hat material as that is the last thing you want to do if Durant can't come back. You really are thick aren't you? They are saying the absolute 100% best case scenario. Kind of like the Lions were putting on the brave face in the offseason with the best case for Lulay coming back. Happens allllllllllllll the time in pro sports.

or you know, it's a perfectly fine explanation for it... why doubt it? You think that on that play they just decided they couldn't get a play called and the ball snapped on time for no reason? Not like we've never seen the speakers not work before.

The esks management is in love with White.

Harris out for season, Smith on 6 game IR17to85 replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion which to me is simply an indicator that he's not good enough to be the main threat in an offense and without Dressler for most of the season to take pressure off him he's not as effective. It happens. We got our own guy like that In Denmark.
-
Chance... could... optimistic news after getting shut out? You don't say...
-
	INJURIES ARE A VALID REASON!
-
This makes a lot more sense than Burris. I'm a big fan of Matt Nichols and I think he'll do quite well behind a strong Rider O-line. You would have to think it wouldn't happen until after the Riders and Esks play though right? Don't want to get burned giving a team you're close in the standings to a qb.

FNF - Montreal @ Ottawa / Sask. @ Edmonton17to85 replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion with the Riders being as desperate as they are Ottawa should be trying to bend them over as much as possible. Starting Canadian, Sunseri and that first round pick or GTFO.

FNF - Montreal @ Ottawa / Sask. @ Edmonton17to85 replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion I am sure there's an official Rider fan flowchart of blame out there somewhere.
-
FNF - Montreal @ Ottawa / Sask. @ Edmonton17to85 replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion you are wrong. Damon Allen was too inconsistent a passer to be considered the best in the CFL. Now a guy like Flutie, he could run very effectively and was a great passer as well, that's why he's pretty unanimously considered the best to ever play in the CFL.

If you've watched the trends for 20 years, you can see that offences always take longer to adjust. It's worth noting that more Canadians start on offense, so it may take longer to find new talent. So it seems that teams are still using absolute behemoths on the offensive line, whereas defensive linemen have been trending smaller for a while, could we be in a situation where they simply need to go with smaller OL who have better quickness to deal with the speedy players on defense? Or do you go in the other direction and just beef up the offenses to smash the puny DL and linebackers all over the league?
