The biggest problem Davis had was hesitating in the pocket. Now I dunno if his receivers just weren't getting open or he just wasn't pulling the trigger for fear of making a mistake, but that's the danger of a young guy going into a game where the rest of the team is so flat. He knows that mistakes sink you so he doesn't even try anything that isn't certain.

I am thinking that giving up on a play is the biggest sin on a Mike O'Shea team and Lankford not even trying to finish his route took points off the board before halftime.

The other way to look at it would be that without NIchols they'd have to rely on Harris MORE. Though Lapo didn't really do that vs. Hamilton, so who knows.

The ticats lined up their offense like they were going to go for it and the qb punted the ball, it was a punt, but a punt by the ticats offense that the Bombers defense was on the field trying to return. That's why it worked. If it was the Bombers special teams unit on the field there is no way that play ever happens. That's why it was a great call by Hamilton.

You know what was arguably worse than seeing a Rider win? TSN having Jay and Dan waste time on the broadcast trying to hype up their stupid ******* program. completely agree, the DL got pressure, the coverage was just not there. Masoli runs for his life and tosses a duck downfield and there's a wide open receiver to save his ass.

As ugly as Lankford's attempt was there were damned few Bombers actually showed up to play against Hamilton. Let's just call it what it was, they played a stinker and got their asses handed to them as a result. Lucky for us this team has shown the ability to rebound so let's just lick the wounds and move on.

I don't get that, to me this team simply cares more about what they do themselves than who they are playing. Been consistent from the get go with Mike O'Shea. There's no looking ahead, not looking behind, there is only the next game on the schedule and preparing to win that game is the only thing that matters. And I for one welcome this approach.
