  1. Let's just call it what it is, cheap, entitled people want to watch stuff on their own schedule without paying for it so they use a technicality to absolve any guilt they may or may not be having about it. Bottom line they're getting content without paying for it. If you can live with that then good on you, but some people have better morals than that.
  2. Sure he ran some awful offences, but I recall him using the rbs quite heavily in the passing game when he was here the first time, both Sellers and Roberts caught a lot of balls. He's got the players to run a lot of plays that can generate yards after the catch. I think just reading the tea leaves we can get a kind of idea what Lapo is going to want to run. The real concern with him is if he's grown a set of balls since he was fired or if he's still going to be passive to the point of crippling the offense.
  3. The science is actually quite well understood, the trouble is modelling has too many variables to be precise. Doesn't necessarily mean you have to go balls to the walls switching to non CO2 producing energy but the science behind the greenhouse effect is legit.
  4. Hey it's a legit question, how are movie studio executives supposed to buy that new ivory back scratcher if people keep watching **** for free?
  5. I think the change in offense alone will help our Willy take less abuse. Lots of options for quick short passes on the team the way I see it, throw it behind the guys trying to kill the qb and all of a sudden they might slow down a bit. Harris especially is as good a pass catcher as he is rusher so that should in theory help out a lot.
  6. Or you can purchase it in the forms the company is willing to sell it or go without. You aren't a special little snowflake that gets to have it your way all the time. Sometimes you just have to march to the beat of someone else's drum.
  7. They could improve the game experience by winning more than they lose.
  8. Or you guys could just pay for the content you consume instead of stealing it like common criminals.
  9. yeah the Bombers have a lot of Canadians guys they can use. As I've said before what they were really lacking was the impact Canadians but that might be changing as well. They won't run a set number of positions as Canadian positions, they'll just use a pool of guys and juggle the ratio as needed. I suspect it won't even be the same 7 "starters" all the time anyway, I see lots of rotations of players throughout games anyway.
  10. But London is a stupidly good team. Lots of guys who have either been picked high or will be picked high. Memorial cup is always a bit of a crap shoot as far as who is going to do well and who won't. Just wasn't meant to be for the Wheaties but winning the WHL is a big feather in the cap none the less.
  11. Egssbenedict Cucumberpatch as Bond? No thank you. I like the Fassbender idea though. Dude is great in everything
  12. The interesting thing about that video is that every GM throws out the "we had this guy #1 the whole time" line after they've made their picks, but with how giddy Kyle Walters is I'd actually believe it. The man was about 2 seconds away from breaking into a victory dance
  13. details from that era are sketchy at best.... I don't remember what happened, all I know is I can't stand to drink rum anymore
  14. I actually kind of liked what they did with Vision even though the character is too OP and needs a nerf.... I guess I've always been a bit of a sucker for the robot trying to become human thing. Movie was great though. Anything wrong with it was just nit picky but once again it had some good build up of drama and well executed action sequences. Spiderman was great just being the stupidly powerful character but is star struck by the super heroes and totally nerding out over their tech. Big fan of Paul Rudd so obviously I like his take on ant man and was a nice surprise to see giant man show up too.
  15. so what you're saying is, it's perfect for the REDBLACKS!
  16. They actually gave us a non hideous royal blue jersey full time! This is it ladies and gentlemen, we are out of purgatory, let the good times roll once more. Grey Cup champs, you heard it here first.
  17. The good news is that the NFL is so rigid he won't have to think for himself. Coaches will tell him exactly what to do all the time.
  18. I agree that it would be awesome if we could say the reffing was really good. Trouble is that half of the refs in this league don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and reviewing everything all the time makes them call the game like pansies relying on replay to catch everything. Take away replay and make them actually have to pay attention I bet the quality improves.
  19. People have said Walters has had great offseasons the last couple years, hasn't made a difference and until he gets better at recruiting some players I doubt it changes because that is where your depth comes from and depth has killed this team the past couple seasons.
  20. Well that goes without saying regardless of new jerseys or not.
  21. The problem with Deadpool is that studios will take the wrong lesson from it. They'll think that an R rating and some 4th wall breaking and lots of violence and language are what people want and will churn out crap that checks off the boxes. What Deadpool was though, was fun. It worked because it was Deadpool and because it's pretty much THE role Ryan Reynolds does. Doesn't mean every superhero movie needs to be like it, but watch, they'll try because "well it worked before"
  22. My prediction is that no matter who gets picks some people will complain about it and pine for someone still on the board. What do I win cause you all know it's going to happen.
