I don't know that they would have. Early season Eskimos got a TON of pressure on teams and the Rider OL is not great at preventing that. Harris coulda picked their D apart for yards too and they probably would have kicked enough field goals to beat the Riders.

Harris is the Bombers leader in receptions by a lot, everyone knows the offense runs through him and they game plan around stopping him first, 2nd and 3rd. He is not going to be ignored ever.

Only one of the two interceptions was a bad decisions. The first one before half time the decision to make that throw was fine, he just needed to put that ball in a different position. Instead of throwing to Adams like he did he needed to just put it up and more to the back of the endzone and let Adams try and run to it. That will come with experience. The other int, that was just a poor decision and throw.

Yeah this was one of the good Lapo games. The issues were really some missed throws more than anything else. Didn't rely on gimmicky crap, just called a normal simple offence and let his players make plays. Needs to do that more often rather than trying to be too cute.

but that's not nepotism either. Pierce is the exact kind of guy that gets a chance to be OC in this league. Former QB, worked his way from running backs coach to quarterbacks coach... OC is the next logical step in his career. I mean I dunno if Pierce is the best candidate out there, but if they were to give him a chance I wouldn't write it up to anything other than a guy earning his chance.
