Is this really true? Cause there's lots of people have been inserted mid season over his tenure... now yes he is reluctant to sit then incumbent when they are healthy... but I don't think there is as much resistance to new people as you're implying here. Basically Oshea has a weakness for veterans who have proven themselves in the past.

If they wanted to replace kolankowski Eli has been there for years. This is a case of the team sees the guy differently than we as fans do.

Not even. He developed into a serviceable special teamer. Initially he wasn't terribly impressive there. His value was primarily that he could in theory contribute as a runningback... though they never gave him many chances there.

Augustine really served no purpose on the team. Yeah I guess he learned how to play special teams... but you should be able to find someone who can do that pretty easily.

It can't be worse... I dunno what was going on with Buck last season but man there were issues.

I for one have faith in Streveler unshackled.

I don't think they were a terribly good OL for run blocking anyway. They just struggled all the way around and a big part of the problem with the OL is Collaros himself. He needs to be better at making decisions quickly and smartly and he was awful at it last season. Here's my hot take of the offseason... the biggest concern with the roster is Collaros, but there's nothing to be done about that now due to his roster bonus. He turns back the clock a bit we do fine, he continues to decline and it has potential to get messy.

But most of them were signed by one of the guys responsible for bringing them to winnipeg in the first place... Again most of the beefs here arent specific free agency beefs and more disagreements with the teams plans.
