And now think of the provincial government who has jurisdiction over natural resources and the reaction there.... you want socialized oil and gas it's gotta be a provincial crown Corp.
-
Nationalize a natural resource.... do you want to rip the country apart? Cause you start so brazenly stepping into provincial jurisdictions that is what will happen.

It's hard to judge receivers in winnipeg since until last season they were just an afterthought in the game plan to Harris. We saw a more qb focused game plan and suddenly Lawler led the league and Bailey emerged and demski looks pretty damned solid... -

Do you think they aren't doing that? Walters is the most proactive gm out there by far and he always brings guys in. -
Oh I have no doubts he believes that's actually a viable thing. Guy just lies all the time so it fits his MO.
-
Hmm that might make China irate.

The way that Peter McKay was rejected in the last leadership selection and how otoole was booted for trying to be moderate after winning tells me that the right is fully in charge.
-
Rule of acquisition #34, war is good for business.
-
This is exact how otoole won. He pondered to the right wing and once the hard right so-cons dropped out their votes went to otoole.

Republicans at this point are entirely Russian assets.

Yeah never a doubt in my mind who got to be 97

I remember a lot of people wrote walls off purely based on size. He was such a solid player though. Not as flashy as some other guys but rock solid.

How many pipelines got built under Harper? Sure they made a bunch approvals but there was nothing built then either. The time to start building pipelines isn't now, it was 20 years ago.

He has calendars though! And think of PJ... and Squee... and Donkey Dong Doug...

for 99 I definitely thought of Wayne Weathers first... doing the ******* championship belt thing.

not realising that failing so hard as a conservative premier in Alberta that they give you the boot means what the **** chance do you even have federally? No Kenney gets the old heave ho from the UCP I reckon that's the end of his political career.

Lowering the bar is what kenney does best

Sickens me how tied to the Republicans assholes down south some of the current conservatives in Canada are. Rotten to the core.
-
Cancelling a country that is invading another country at the moment unprovoked? Sounds good to me! GOP probably worried their money is going to dry up.

Putin bet the farm on the rest of the world not caring and Ukraine just rolling over. Now that those things haven't happened I wonder just how crazy he actually is... will he slink away with his tail tucked or double down on a mistake...

He threw them just enough to keep them happy and they actually started to believe that they deserved to dictate policy. They are the vocal minority and boy howdy are they vocal. They're basically a 3 year old. They don't get their way they have no problem throwing a tantrum until they are placated

I just don't see it being a DB... Walters is too much of a OL and DL person high in drafts. There was the one year they took Simonise right? Other than that it's either been OL or DL in the first round... though I am willing to accept that i am purely going from sketchy memory on this. -

but they're still more physically ready. I mean going back to the NHL comparison how many players realistically make the jump from draft to playing in the NHL? Fact is that the big leagues are hard to play in and it takes special talent levels to be able to do it. It's to be expected that most people won't achieve those heights. But older players coming out of college are more physically ready to play than those that are drafted at 18. -

Wait are you seriously making the argument that guys drafted at 18 are no different than guys drafted at what? 22? Cause for most men there is a lot of physical growth between those ages.
