Considering how most of what he does that is good in the passing game comes when he is simply running around yeah I'd agree not overly smart. Can make something happen on broken plays and has good escapability, but if you keep him in the pocket he is completely useless.

The fact is that it actually makes what Marino did worse because it was premeditated head (leg) hunting. -
That's what happens when you poke the bear.

For a "young man" that is a real unfortunate hairline -

it's around in places, I don't have the link handy but it's not a great play. OL definitely wanted to jump on a guy who was down. I think the injury happened as the rider was trying to get up as big fat OL is coming down on him and the ankle just too much weight on it. Basically that one was a bad play that unintentionally wound up as an injury vs. Marino deciding that he was gonna go after any and every leg he could find to try and "even the score" -
Honestly Calgary will be a tougher test that BC if you ask me. Think they have a better OL and experience at qb is harder to bamboozle than a young guy. plus I think their offensive coaches are better than BC and they can do more varied things. Don't get me wrong, they should still be able to put a beating on Bo but Calgary is a tougher matchup IMO.

And to think how much people **** on Matt Nichols..... but yeah Collaros is gonna climb that list quickly if he stays healthy.

And really defensive lines in the CFL are so good right now that everyone is going to face pressure.

Those two do seem to be having a real bromance every time they show them on the sidelines -
Rourke made 3 dynamite throws or this was an absolute thrashing.... and the chips were stacked against the Bombers with the short week and all the injuries.... let that sink in.

Yeah I've become a huge fan of that kid. Just keeps making plays. -
Maybe Marino has been going after his knees in practice.

Anyone got a clip since I didn't see the whole game?

Not like a guy has to be deep before the ball is thrown anyway, you got the travel time for the ball to allow a guy to get open downfield. Bottom line you gotta use the whole field to open things up and you can do that in a lot of ways. I do wonder if the Bombers receivers are lacking in the speed department in some ways, but not from a deep threat perspective. -
So tsn is bound to have an isolated cam on him going forward right?

Totally. From what I've seen the lions have relied on quick passing. You make Rourke hold on a second longer I can see things falling off the rails. -

This right here is huge. I can see Rourke tossing some balls that Jefferson and his 12 foot wingspan just knock out of the sky. -
Because **** everyone who picked him in lock of the week that's why

If I'm going down I'm going down with Bombers. So give me Ellingson

And dressler and demski ran deep a bunch too. It's all about how lapo loves guys who are big yac guys. It's why demski and Harris were such good fits and why dressler was a good fit. He keeps looking for those guys. I don't know why people willfully blind themselves to the stuff lapo has been doing in this league for 2 decades. -

It's not that, it's that Lapo wanted him to do things dressler and demski did when the guy clearly isn't that kind of player. -
Yup collaros played like the first quarter of that game and had a lead when they made the switch. That one was all on Dru Brown in his first ever game.

It just blows my mind that he has that one singular loss so far across 3 different seasons. It's really something

Willy went through the same thing. Went from hitting all over the field to only throwing check downs. Streveler too. I for one blame Lapo. More qbs play with him the more they start only throwing short. Of course Nichols get physically broken so that didn't help. And willy got the stuffing beaten out of him.
