No I mock him because he bought into the hype despite his many flaws and then when predictably things started going poorly he continued to act like it was all things outside his control. I was harder on Evans too until he opened up about his challenges and sought help for it. That's the entire difference. Honestly I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to rider players who aren't total ass clowns. It's always been the fans that are the biggest issue there.

Why do people want to go back to having a ruling class and the rest of us being serfs serving at their leisure? That's what small government gets you. I for one want a government that works for everyone and holds every one to the same standard.

It is nonsensical because if you shrink government to that extent you are giving power (more so than they already have) to the ultra wealthy and mega corporations. That objectively does not make anyone's life better.

Oh they want smaller government alright, but only in the case of smaller government in regards to wealthy corporations. These entities have shown time and time again that they need more regulation not less because they can not be trusted to do the right thing.

We have already seen how certain types want to americanize the game. I think it's wilful ignorance to suggest that no ratio wouldn't mean going to full on american rules. The game is fine, the rules are fine, the ratio is fine. The problem is lazy assed teams not wanting to put in the work to grow the game in their own markets.

I actually think Trudeau was voted in more than Harper being voted out. Yes he had been in long enough etc etc but Trudeau was seen favorably at the time as a breath of fresh air.

The point is when it's policy vs. policy the conservative policies lose. But when you make it a team sport, red (or orange) vs. team blue you get tons of people voting against their best interests because that's their team. I'm not even a big NDP fan... but in a choice between Dumbass Dani Smith and Rachel Notley... well we're all better off with Rachel. Unless you're a rich oil tycoon.
