  1. As far as onfield reasons, collaros lost them that game. Wilson couldn't have done any worse but at least you're giving the team a chance.
  2. Realistically the worst thing a backup qb is going to do is throw a bunch of interceptions... but maybe he has enough of a spark he makes a couple plays and avoids those turnovers.... collaros wasn't exactly having a strong game before he got hurt and honestly what's the best you can expect from collaros with a sliced open, stitched up frozen index finger on his throwing hand? Dude was too injured to play and should have been sat down. Watching him throw on the sidelines immediately after he came back out there is no way he should have been put back in. Wilson may not have won the game... but at least he could still throw.
  3. Is the secondary not part of the D?
  4. And yet our D was ******* good all season long... there's more than one way to build a good defense. Quite frankly the problems or this team is that for allllllll the money they spend on O it was **** for most of the season. Point fingers there not the D because the D was the only reason last years team did anything.
  5. The offense has been **** the past 3 grey cups. But big changes to the offense regardless this offseason so see what happens.
  6. Parker would be a nice piece to slot in should they lose Ford.
  7. I wanna say nasty nate is the one to credit Plop to for Lapolice and the white zombie Jim Daley...
  8. Because age and cost is going to force the GMs hand. I mean it's unheard of the amount of continuity this team has already had since 2019... now that the shine has worn off somewhat changes are inevitable.
  9. "If you're not first you're last" Is the mentality some here have.
  10. Hey I may be bitter and old but..m wait what was the third thing?
  11. The other aspect is that sometimes venting and grumbling is just that... as an example I'll go ***** about my workplace but I'm still overall happy here and no real designs on leaving. Point? None I guess, just that context is everything and we all apply our own biases to all the information we are presented with.
  12. Which we as bomber fans can point to several times during the drought....
  13. I think some of this is overblown to be honest. There's a couple guys need to be shown the door because time has passed them by but some of the young guys people ***** and moan about were hardly guarantees anyway. It's really not the big deal a select few have made it seem.
  14. My perspective is that WJ would need to be ready to just leave in order to not come back. What's he going to get from another team that he can't get here? Money? Bombers have as much or more incentive to pay him big bucks... chance at a cup? Well 5 straight appearances his chances here seem as good as anywhere... so why is he leaving? Unless he's come down with O'Shea derangement syndrome like certain people around here have...
  15. I don't see how anyone values WJ more than Winnipeg does anyway.
  16. If someone wants to break the bank on an aging Jefferson have at er....
  17. Honestly given the track record this team has DB is the last place I worry about losing guys. It's been star after star this management group has brought in at that position.
  18. Spending big? Not likely. Looking for a new body somewhere? Sure be shocked if they aren't because even IF they bring bighill back dude hasn't stayed healthy in for ******* ever.
  19. I would keep the faith in Kyle Walters. They kept things together longer than I get the sense he would have preferred just because of the easily excused narrow losses in the grey cups and big win totals. They started making some moves last offseason and some came about during the season because of the way things always go. I'd be inclined to think our GM knows what's up and will make some of the hard decisions.
  20. Yeah thinking neufeld took time to get healthy is all. I'm ok having him back.
  21. The way some folks talk no signings should be good news right
  22. And yet they consistently came out on top and the stats back it up...just because most good defensesthese days are built around pressure and the front 7 doesn't mean that's the only way
  23. Like I said, you need an offense to do their share. That first argos game, the offense fumbled a bunch in scoring range and had that dodgey third down spot... and the defense was still good enough in that game it took an error the cfl had to admit to for the argos to score enough to win. For the amount of money spent on offense last season their performance throughout the season was nowhere near good enough.
  24. I think prior to that injury the general consensus was bighill needed to be 100% healthy to play at an acceptable level. Dude hasn't really been healthy though. Lotta city miles on that body.
