  1. Always one of my favourites as both heel and face.
  2. One thing for certain is that Ed Boulder, Dizzy Hogan, The Disciple, Brutus Beefcake, The Booty Man, The Man With No Name, The Zodiac, and The Butcher were all different people.
  3. Stumbled across this song recently and loved it!
  4. I was always a fan of the DDT, back in the day of Jake Roberts when it was a finishing move and not just another move in the middle of a match. When I first saw Jake Roberts perform the move it looked devastating, and it was one of those moves that didn't require an elaborate setup, although he always added a few theatrics.
  5. https://twitter.com/RVAwonk/status/1041459753803829250 Sounds like he's wavering, although it is Jeff Flake so we have to wait and see if he follows through.
  6. Sad one - one of my all-time favourites from the 1990's.
  7. I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, but for the Blues Brothers fans out there a sad one... https://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/blues-brothers-guitarist-matt-guitar-murphy-dead-at-88-w521611 He had a long career, and wasn't as famous as other blues legends, but still a great guitar player.
  8. Not as successful as Tim Burke or Jeff Reinebold - take away their losses and they have a 100% winning percentage!
  9. This was always my personal favourite. I remember seeing them a couple times at the old SunFest in Gimli.
  10. Rich - that technology is a bit beyond me! I tried to see if I can PM it to you, but I can't figure out how to attach something like you would an email.
  11. I was able to put that information together pretty easily, but I don't know how to post it. I have it in a Excel spreadsheet and saved them as PDF's. Is there a way I can post it?
  12. I thought that too, but then found that option near the bottom, above the Twitter feed. It would be nice if it was at the top.
  13. On my mobile I get a large banner ad across the top that sometimes pushes the log in menu off the screen to the right. If I navigate to the right it's there. I don't know if it's the same for you, but it's something I've noticed.
  14. Great moment! It's unfortunate that he had to set the record wearing that god-awful uniform and logo the Bombers had at the time. It would have looked much sweeter with the current uniform/logo.
  15. It's not Manitoba, but I played this course once in the late 90's when I was doing some work in the Northwest Territories: http://www.fortsimpsonchamber.ca/featured-post-5/. It had sand "greens" that you were supposed to rake after you were done, although it looks like they may have changed that now. Every time you stopped for your next shot you immediately had a cloud of gnats and black-flies that would swarm you. But it was worth it so I could always tell my brother (who is an avid golfer) that I played golf further north than him!
  16. Here is the first in a four-part series from the L.A. Times on Trump where they don't pull any punches. http://www.latimes.com/projects/la-ed-our-dishonest-president/#nt=oft12aH-1gp2
  17. Wasn't his original gimmick as an intelligent, arrogant heel? Since he was actually intelligent in real life, as evidenced by TUP's tweet on him with a master's degree. I recall seeing some old footage of him like that. Then he changed to "the animal" gimmick.
  18. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/west-edmonton-mall-wem-water-park-sexual-assault-1.3972344
  19. I agree with the slow beginning, but great movie overall comments. I thought it would have been neat to reference a young Wedge as a member of Rouge One who is one of few to survive the battle. Further establish his horseshoe-up-the-ass credentials! Unless they did and I missed it.
  20. When talking about all-time Bomber greats, both in this thread and other threads, it's odd to me that no one seems to talk about James Murphy (unless I've missed it). I'm not saying he's right up there with the best-of-the-best, but he had a stellar career. Team career record holder in receptions and yards until Milt Stegall; three-time Grey Cup winner; league MVP; Grey Cup MVP; multiple time all-star; one of the most important players on the teams in the 1980's. Didn't he get picked to the all-time Bomber team when they did that a few years ago? I haven't lived in Winnipeg since early-2000 so maybe I've missed something with him, but he seems to get overlooked in the discussions.
