was watching a Colts game this year and heard Muamba's name come up on a tackle made on punt coverage. I can't deny it made me sad, but on the other hand, it was good to see him making good in the big show.

I thought Banks looked terrible in that exhibition game he played in. I notice that he didn't mention the game he played in, just the practice INT's he snagged, probably off of Max Hall. He was beat out for a spot on the team by better guys. Such is life in football.

Speaking of Grey Cups - on this day in 1939, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeated the Ottawa Rough Riders 8 - 7 at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa. It was the second Grey Cup for the franchise. Who knew in the following 75 years, only 8 more Cups would be coming our way, including 4 in a five year span from 1958 - 1962. Wow - if only we could get back to days like those eh?
