and to hear him say "Riders and Bombers saw off a sister-kisser".

I am cheering for Bridge, and hope he makes it, but I also hope that any games he plays in this year are called by Chris Cuthbert and not Rod Black, as I don't want to hear "Air Canada" fifty times during the game.

Still remember an exhibition game in 1982. Nate "the Great" Johnson got into a fight with some guy on the BC Lions (I think). First time I had ever seen a fight in football. Nate just smoked the guy, while 20,000 fans cheered him on.

I think we can cut Bob some slack here...this is his 87th training camp...

Had lunch with a guy today who played with Jade Etienne at U of S. He said that the Bombers drafting Jade at #4 is still one of the biggest jokes in CFL history. He's never played with a softer player. He also played a lot against Addison Richards and as an outside linebacker and "beat up on him a lot". His assessment of Richards - "not quite as soft as Etienne". Real ringing endorsement.

no that's sharkal tunnel syndrome

Chris Jones - "he's just not ready".

yup. Loved the win in 84. Should have won in 2007 too.

Wow you used Riders and "thinking" and "math" in the same sentence. That's kind of pushing it.

hey man, Ogopogo is real. I've seen him a few times. Or it was a log. But I'm sure it was him.

yup already can't wait for July 1st to watch Glenn crumple and turn into a dish-rag as he is steam-rolled by Nevis a few times, and then turned into sandwich meat by Ogopogo and Westerman coming around both ends.

This guy should be interested then...

Cab Sauv or Shiraz for me. And I don't mind my wine in the fridge for a bit before serving.

Was that at the home opener vs. Montreal? Pretty sure all three of those guys walked past me on the sidelines before the game.

Anyone notice how the rest of the WR are looking? Raper? Thorpe? Thera-Plamondon? Washington? Sheppard?

and pre-season wins don't count.

oh yeah? Name a few??

June 3, 2017 Released: OL Dominick Jackson (I) Added to roster: WR Justice Liggins (I) Let's hope that Justice will be served now in our receiving corp.

I thought we should have kept Bennett around and our 3rd stringer. Oh well.

In the Vatican? Oh wait that's a different joke.

seems to me there were some unintended consequences here from some people trying to do a good thing and not fully understanding the potential ramifications, including people freezing in the dark trying to get from one country to another illegally.

I believe that this is what Alexander Pope would have called "damning with faint praise".

so if a friend of mine gets denied access at the US border at Osoyoos because of a drug charge from 20 years ago, he should just run across the border and scream "I claim asylum"? He wouldn't get jumped on/shot by US border guards and dragged back into Canada? Interesting....
