last night the winning goal was scored by Washington by a giveaway by Carter Hutton behind the Buffalo net. Just threw it right onto a Washington player's stick, who hit a wide open Tom Wilson with the net totally open. Looking forward to them beating the tar out of a mediocre Vancouver team on Saturday and then the team getting a well-deserved rest. They've had a pretty crappy schedule lately. I was really impressed with Kane last night. He scored a nice goal and set up another one. If that guy could ever get over himself and focus on his game, he might make a good hockey player one day. I just don't ever see that happening. I wouldn't be surprised if some of his team-mates already want to take his head off in practice....

Roslo with the nice dish to Myers with Lemieux and Appleton crashing the net. It was a great grinder goal. Roslo has a sweet pair of hands, and seems to be playing with renewed confidence. Keeping him off the ice is just dumb.

I was at this game. I remember feeling sorry for Roy Dewalt because he was getting beaten up so bad by the defense. Ty Jones seemed to be behind the line of scrimmage and in Dewalt's face almost after every snap. He must have been seeing Jones in his nightmares that night.

Clinton was definitely charismatic and had a unique charm and ability to relate to the common man. He could take difficult concepts and explain them in simple terms. And he was likeable. Hard to compete with that. I still remember after the Gulf War SNL had a skit called "Democrats try to decide who will lose to Bush in 1992" or something like that and it featured all of the front-runner Democrat candidates explaining why they shouldn't be nominated, as it was so obvious they were going to lose, badly.
