  1. Can't wait for more of the 'running backs are a dime a dozen' posts. After that, do linebackers.
  2. It has been wonderful to witness our beloved football team emerge from the Canadian Football Hinterland. Savouring their success is akin to the gradual imbibement of single malt. Would that I still had young days ahead of me, and could fully take to the field again.
  3. Who was the group that sang the anthem?
  4. I assume you mean stuff like the comments about a former Riders' head coach? It did take quite a bit of work to clean that kind of stuff up - but it is better now.
  5. Agreed. He would have good numbers but we'd be a .500 football team In 2015 for the Argos and 2016 for the Redblacks - he played some of his better ball Yet, a 41 year old Burris had to come off the bench and take over the Redblacks in 2016
  6. Think of the duped children!
  7. Another guy who can be serviceable, with good pieces around him. Plenty of grey cups have been won that way. But alas...the Riders have hardly any...
  8. Because package graphics are merely a suggestion.
  9. It's worth a try - the defendant has deep pockets. If she irritates them enough, they might give her a settlement.
  10. ^^ Fast food ads are next...
  11. No kidding. Anyone who complains about Winnipeg mosquitoes, should drive several hours north and go outside after dark.
  12. I particularly appreciated what he accomplished when he was older. Played within his limitations, aware that he had a good Argo team around him. As has been said, a kid like Ford could do that, given the training.
  13. Yep, I know. Just like pushing back on your hyperbole once in a blue moon.
  14. To a certain extent, sure. But the Bombers have drafted plenty of good players - some of which were lost in FA or retired: Oliveira, Augustine, O'Leary Orange, Desjarlais, Eli, Goossen, Chungh, Wolitarsky, Thomas, Dobson, et. al.
  15. I recall a younger Damon Allen also taking off after his first or second read. The 'savvy vet' version of Allen played more along the lines of what you describe
  16. I think that's a good comparison. Teams put the right pieces around Damon Allen, and won championships with him - even at 42 or whatever it was. No one asks how you won a championship (unless you're the 2007 Riders).
  17. The Argos generally have a pretty decent OL. It'll be interesting to see how MBT fares elsewhere.
