2025 CFL (Non-Bombers) Season
That's been the local Harris narrative since literally the beginning of the season. He's in the Grey Cup now.

Permission to talk: Is O'Shea leaving?
That's true of a whole lot of starting Canadian positions. I mean, if you found a Canadian who could play OT to the level of, say, Hardrick, you'd have to pay him.

That would be because there isn't a Canadian back anywhere near as good as Brady is. I am not advocating a raise, I just think Brady O's contract for this year was fine, especially for a non-import 2023: led the league in yards from scrimmage 2024: led the league in yards from scrimmage 2025: finished second in yards from scrimmage (missed 3 games) When you have a Canadian doing that, you will have to pay him - or some other team will The one thing that bothers me about Brady, is that they are not taking full advantage of the fact that he's a Canadian running back. A Canadian in a non-traditional position, with a decent backup, should be pure gold. But the Bombers choose not to cash in. There should be 3 Americans on the OL, or an American starting for Jake Thomas at DT. Heck, they could do both of those if they really wanted to

Permission to talk: Is O'Shea leaving?
Beside the point. The BO contract is not the huge issue it gets made out to be. Other players are not earning their $$, but he certainly is.

Has an OL ever won that?

And yet...others are interested in his services.

More weirdness though. I get why they let Yoshi go, but I don't get why others were kept.

MOS thinks highly of intangibles. Both he and Dave Ritchie were/are like that. In their eyes, the veteran leadership, been there done that element, is just as important as on field contributions. They have both said this in interviews. My question about this approach over the last couple season, would be this: you're got Collaros, Bryant and Neufeld - shouldn't that be adequate? Why is there this need to start inferior veterans? Also, which one is the bigger factor - philosophy or complacency? Just my 0.02 - I know I won't get any answers.

I agree of course, to do otherwise would be to revise history. But what happened in 2024 and 2025, leaves me just a bit hesitant. Some decisions were simply baffling.

You might be right, but Father Time is always undefeated.

I am not sure who's to blame and I'm not going to pretend I am. I just think some might think twice and take a closer look, before hiring him.

Based on this season, I don't ZC is much better than Arbuckle. Arbuckle played some decent ball and is pretty low on the list of Argos' concerns.

The current state of the Bombers OL/DL might put a 'pause' on some of those opinions.

CFL West Division Final: Coach Buck @ Knuckle Dragging Cousin Lovers
Ok thanks, I was wrong. The crow is overcooked and needs more seasoning.

CFL East Division Final: Montreal @ Hamilton
The way he was moving did not look right.

It's obvious that he isn't healthy.

If you look back, they used to make more changes to the line up. It has become more stagnant in recent years.

Probably without or 50%

Indeed. Got to be able to defend against old man Harris, in that situation.

Absolutely. Riders had a long field and needed a TD. BC 100% had the advantage.

CFL East Division Final: Montreal @ Hamilton
Therein lies the rub: The Riders will score some points. Oulette and their OL did well in the cold yesterday. The cold weather version of Harris is good enough to manage the game. There's no doubt the Als D will give them a rough ride. But, if Alexander is out or playing at 50%, logic says the Riders probably win.
