  1. I think that they really need to dedicate one LB spot to a SAM, but they don't and until they do, it's somewhat hard to argue Leggett should be there over the other 3. I guess.
  2. Sounds about right.
  3. Breaking up the Little / Laine / Ehlers line in the third period yesterday was mind blowingly dumb from an (my) uneducated fan perspective. I don't know the rational behind that move, nor do I really think that any explanation is going to convince me it was intelligent. I can't stand the constant line juggling. Especially when I then hear him trot out the "we haven't been healthy enough to build any chemistry" excuse in front of the media. Bull****. And for all the talk about how Ehlers has been slumping and maybe that's why you don't look his way in a shootout, Stafford has 1 goal in 13 games. And has been horrible lately. So give me a break.
  4. Ian Wild isn't a free agent
  5. Good for Burnett, I'm a fan.
  6. Well, looks like my Blue Jays interest will top out at 2 years. What a shame. I like Donaldson. But the rest of this lineup is going to be meh
  7. I won't say it's a lock. But unless this kid totally bombs the combine, I expect he's going to be the first overall pick. Teams will learn from Alex Singleton (very similar situation) after last year - don't underestimate the value of the guy who already knows it's the CFL, not "the CFL, if the NFL doesn't come calling", because he's done the NFL tour already.
  8. I did not get anything as a Shaw TV customer and MTS cell phone customer. Although I don't think I was watching TV at the time.
  9. One more to add beyond my comments on your suggestions - get the no yards rule pulled out of CFL football, since the referees have consistently shown an inability to figure out what a 5 yard buffer zone looks like. You'd have more accuracy flipping a coin on every return, to be honest. I know the fair catch rule is harder to get on board with because of the wider field, but too bad so sad. I absolutely hate the no yards rules in the CFL, entirely because the referees have proven incapable of applying them correctly.
  10. I love football too. I don't love getting home at 1:30 AM from the stadium when I work the next day.
  11. Already extended him.
  12. Bennett is a Rider as of a few minutes ago
  13. I'd be thrilled to trade our management that has built a winning program for another team's management that has ran theirs into the ground.
  14. Not quite what I said, but yes your point is valid.
  15. We generally start with poor first periods, I'm not a huge fan of how often he likes to shuffle the lines - especially when he'll shuffle up combos because the previous ones have been slumping, then he'll run an entire game with a line that clearly has no chemistry, too patient with individuals (coughBurmicough) despite his general impatience with lines that aren't producing.
  16. I haven't been a big Paul Maurice fan for a while now. That being said, I'm nowhere near as educated of a fan when it comes to hockey as I am with football, so I tend to stay out of it but I just see plenty of things about Maurice that irk me a bit.

    Wrestling

I don't think it builds to a rematch, I think it was the best way possible to humanize Brock Lesnar so that he can actually go forward as part of the roster without the need for him to run through every single wrestler on it. This just took the aura off Brock in a big way. Goldberg was gassed by the time he finished his entrance, but man .. physically, he's in great shape. He could probably do okay as a Rumble entry, but I doubt he has much more than that in him. I'll give him credit though - as quick as the match was, he still nailed the two spears and the jackhammer. Looked pretty good. Also - RIP Shane.
  18. Okay we get it, you're not an O'Shea fan. This is when discussion reaches the point of uselessness. You've made up your mind and nothing anyone says is going to change it, so what are we even *discussing* at this point?
  19. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat Well then - I stand corrected. But that is not good for us.
  20. No they are not. EDIT: I stand corrected, my apologies good sir
  21. I'd prefer to hear you provide examples of how it already hasn't. What's the percentage of success on MOS' decisions currently? You must have it to suggest he needs a higher percentage.
  22. Quite frankly, I agree with you in that I don't understand why they'd call up de Leo just to sit in the press box, but as has already been mentioned - it's working. You can question it. But I don't understand why you refuse to acknowledge that maybe they do these things for a reason.
  23. Then why don't you stop trying to argue it every single day? Honestly, it's painful to read the Jets forum because you just badger people incessantly if they don't agree with your stance on a particular issue. Do I think Thorburn should be dressed? Not really. But man do I not want to dedicate four hundred posts to debating it.
  24. I would think the CFL norm is whatever is the smartest deployment of your assets in order to win you games. We just won 11 games with 3 international OL - what's the problem with that?
