  1. Every single year, same thing. There's at most, a handful of spots open between the main roster and the practice roster for a receiver. Dressler has a spot, as does Adams and between Stafford/Denmark, I'm sure ONE is guaranteed. MAYBE there's a spot for an absolute stud, otherwise it's backups and PR. But you NEED guys to throw to. 5 quarterbacks means you need fresh receivers always. Plus, you can always improve. Doesn't matter how good you think you are.
  2. Keep in mind this is only a good trade if he fits within your salary structure - which he would not here.
  3. I've always operated under the assumption that's who he is.
  4. All I will say is that they don't ban anyone just for questioning RS (or anyone else) - you've had a very long leash over there, as have I, and you know it. The times you were banned, you definitely deserved it (as did I when I was banned) and it was probably long overdue. I don't think we'd do anything differently over here. And Gov does care. The rest of it is largely accurate.
  5. As someone who thinks Stronson is a major jerkoff, the majority of this is untrue.
  6. Maybe he can turn those bubble screens from chicken **** into Ceaser salad.
  7. Sucks for them but that's what happens when you're willing to sign anyone and everyone regardless of their background. Sometimes the best defensive back you have decides to go and choke his girlfriend unconscious on a Saturday in April and all of a sudden you've got a massive hole in your starting lineup. as for Justin Cox? **** him. Human garbage.
  8. Color me underwhelmed on these two guys. A running back who couldn't crack an awful backfield a year ago and a guy who was last relevant in pro football in 2014 with a pit stop in Tampa Bay. Disclaimer: I've liked pretty much every signing so far this offseason so don't get at me about being negative.

    AJ.
  10. We'll take him. Or Grubauer.
  11. If Harris gets hurt, you just adjust elsewhere in your lineup. In my opinion, it's not as big of an issue as some folks have made it. We're going to start 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 OL, 2 DL and 1 DB - for the most part, I'd say between 50% - 66% of the defensive snaps have another Canadian in the mix as well anyways, so we'd really just have to push that number up to 100% and basically rotate Corney, Miles, Waggoner and Jones (plus we're likely going to add another body that can take reps in the draft) through depending on the situation. No, I would not take Augustine at 15.
  12. Can't see us adding a guy in the draft, to be honest. We didn't want to invest in that spot with Lochard. Not sure what would change now, unless there is just some undeniable great value in the middle/late rounds.
  13. We already have one. Normand.
  14. If Roberson is on the roster, he'd take Flanders spot. The way I see it right now, we have three designated import spots after Medlock to use up. One of them is likely to come on the defensive line, whether it be Jeffcoat, Irvin or maybe even Shayon Green or a different new prospect. You would expect that with the amount of prospects we have in the secondary (Loffler, Jones, Morgan) and linebacking core (Miles, Briggs, Waggoner) that we can get away with one teams-ace Tony Burnett kind of designated import between those two position groups. You're left with one - it's going to go to the kick returner, with their preference likely leaning towards a guy like Kieran Duncan over a guy like Kendall Roberson, since Duncan provides backup at a spot where we're likely thinner with Canadians (receiver vs. running back)
  15. Where do you get 4 tailbacks from?
  16. I think Roberson is going to be great competition for Flanders. I like the look of George Stone too, but I suppose we don't really have a need unless they plan to put him in the middle. He strikes me as a guy who could be like a Tony Burnett, though.
  17. Glen Johnson would be a horrible decision.

With the roster being built on SD, it really makes so much sense to have sent Balor over there too. Missed the boat on that one, in my opinion. Can't wait for Nakamura/Styles, though.
  19. A Carr stuck behind a Carr? Traffic jam.
  20. I thought Orridge did enough to grow the game, but I think looking back, he probably needed to be more of a public face. He wasn't as front and center as Cohon.
  21. To be fair, look at his hair.
  22. Add this name to your CFL Draft board: Randy Colling 26 years old. Been in the Arena Football League for a few years after playing NCAA D2 (former defensive lineman of the year finalist there) and while I have no idea how he's going to rate on the overall draft board, he's exactly what WE need (a big defensive tackle) ... not sure what his current size is, but he was 320 in college. Big time player in Arena Football too, he was on the All-Arena team so he's not exactly unestablished. Could be fairly pro ready. If I had to guess, I'd say he potentially just entered the first round picture.
  23. For all of those wondering if McLeod Bethel-Thompson is coming back, he's apparently a part of the new US spring league that has popped up (as are Adrian Hubbard, Brandon Browner, Greg Hardy and Ahmad Bradshaw) so I'm doubting he'll make his way back up here. Good, in my opinion.
