  1. It surprises me actually that RBs are undervalued compared to receivers, who get far fewer touches in a game. i don’t like that the BB are paying such a premium for Brady over all other RBs but I’m more comfortable giving 300 k to a guy who can run block and pass at a high level than to a receiver.
  2. I watched the presser. My takeaways were different from some of what I read on the board. Walters all but admitted it’s time for a rebuild and set the bar high for this year by saying it can be done quickly. No pay cut for Zach, but that’s partly due to how bad the supports were around him, he said. That suggests there will be hard conversations about the OC, receivers and Oline. He even admitted the Bombers squeaked out some wins despite playing bad football. Only quality wins were over B.C. and Hamilton. That suggests he has his eyes open. The entire organization under achieved this year, except for maybe Vaval and Carol in the ticket office.. It sounds like this season stung the people in charge and course correction is ahead. We will see.
  3. This forum continues to be obsessively negative. Even when some new recruits look good, it means O’Shea is bad. As if the forum recruited the impressive players and not Walters /O’Shea. Win or lose, same old thing. Not sure what some posters get out of this.
  4. #11 for the Warrior
  5. I don’t think anyone still thinks is he’s a starter. He’s shown that on rare occasions he can play a good game. But most times he’s a crap passer and broken down runner. And sometimes he is spectacularly bad.
  6. I know it’s fun to blame the OC (see Pierce, Buck; Lapolice, Paul) but what OC in the league would have done better with Strev at QB (arguably not even a good third string, short yardage guy) mediocre receivers and average OL? it’s a lot of chicken s-t that Walter’s and Osh have handed Hogan. He may also be bad — but I didn’t think we know definitively yet.
  7. Think this applies to the whole team. I’m surprised they kept it close as long as they did against a Rider team that is far more talented. the heart of the problem right now.
  8. He blew it. Getting beat or gaffe, pick your language.
  9. Vaval continues to look better than expected at corner. on the other hand, the big gaffes today have been by newish players Wallace and Allen.
  10. Was he not three yards offside on that touchdown?
  11. Schoen was invisible this year even before his injury.
  12. Clutch drive with key guys injured. Whipping boys Hogan, Collaros deserve some credit.
  13. Lapo has been great in the booth today. Actually dissecting what each team is doing. By far TSN’s best
