The call on Ehlers was garbage. Then the refs chose to ignore Samberg getting sticked in the face. Absolutely impossible that not one official saw that.

Hopefully it’s just a first step towards clearing him. They won’t practice today, so having a skate and then evaluating how he feels seems like normal procedure. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, pretty safe to assume Gus would jump back in.

Ridiculous. And one thing we know we can expect from these officials is not being consistent…. Except for consistently giving us the short end of the stick.

I was at the game last night…. Crazy atmosphere…. As others have said, and we’ve been saying throughout this series, the officiating has been straight up crooked. The refs are simply ignoring the cheap **** the Blues are doing behind the play and right in front of their faces. Several times last night I watched an official stare right at a blatant infraction, and do nothing. Schenn should get a game for that hit, no doubt, but I’d be shocked if he did.

Perfetti needs better linemates. Nino and Namestnikov have not been good. Hopefully they can find some mojo tonight. Iafallo might help with that….. Although Namestnikov has been the weakest link so far.

I blame Helle for the Tucker goal…. But we’ve also had 2 goals go off our D. Literally nothing is going our way. Jets need to find another gear, if they have it….. Hopefully a few bounces will eventually go our way. I know the calls won’t. I’d also have the guys hit Thomas as much as possible. Focus on taking him out of the game.

The officials are 100% favouring the Blues. We’re not playing by the same set of rules.

Yeah, I don’t understand it either. It was clearly a goal. That ruling is just cowardice and not wanting to overturn the call on the ice…. It was the easy way out. And in this situation, the call on the ice shouldn’t carry any weight. The ref that signaled no goal was on the opposite side of the net from where the puck crossed the line. There is no chance he could see where the puck was.

Obviously a very frustrating game for Jets fans. The team was undermanned and looked lethargic. Maybe whatever DeMelo has, was affecting a few other players? Who knows…. But one thing is clear, the Blues are trying to take the Jets off their game by being extra physical. Hitting everything that moves, crashing the net, clutching, grabbing, setting picks… So the Jets need to adjust to it and make them pay. Getting DeMelo and Vilardi back would be nice. Also….. If Perfetti’s goal was allowed, and Hellebuyck doesn’t lose his mind and cough up a gift, it’s a 3-2 game in the 3rd period. Just sayin.

That might have been the poorest officiated game I’ve ever seen…. Definitely in the playoffs. Just inexplicable calls and non calls. That crew should get a serious reprimand…. They won’t, but they absolutely should.

The broadcast barely mentioned it…. It’s another big loss. DeMelo is underrated.

Never said I was concerned. Just making observations on the series to this point, and what we could see going forward.

Up 2-0 heading to St. Louis feels pretty good. Outside of the 2 3rd periods, the Jets haven’t played their best…. Really, it’s been a bit sloppy. Good teams find ways to win. If they find their groove, we should get a more comfortable win.

It has been just awful. Namestnikov was getting picked, but he made very little effort to get off it and block that seam. Last second goals can be deflating…. Hopefully the guy are pissed off.

I wonder how their parents reacted to this. 😁
