  1. Thanks for the input. I’m sure all of us that can’t be there are starving for any little tidbit we can get. Hopefully Dixon can get it going… I was hoping he’d make an impact.
  2. And don’t think for a second that O’Shea wouldn’t pull JT out of retirement if there were a couple injuries inside….. That just sent a chill down my spine.
  3. I’m late to the QB conversation, but yup…. Dunigan was the first guy that popped into my mind.
  4. Yeah, both of those seem a bit …. Choreographed.
  5. Leafs getting the first pick seems pretty convenient.
  6. I think Pavia has too big of an ego to come to the CFL, at this point.
  7. The Jets are not playing well, but the score makes it look much worse. We’ve hit what? 3 posts in that period alone? Plus every rebound is landing on a Sharks stick. I feel bad for Comrie. This team defends poorly and he can’t get a bounce.
  8. Yeah, I don’t understand his reluctance to put a speed line together, especially at this point in the season. I know the theory is young guys make mistakes, but our low end vets make plenty…. And they’re too slow to recover. Most of these dudes have played together before, so there’s already some built in chemistry.
  9. You sure? Nyquist has set a pretty high bar at one goal.
  10. Pretty much anyone in the system could replace those two. They are washed up. The locker room is the only place they’d be missed.
  11. It seems like our worst fears, finishing a point or two out of a wildcard spot, is coming true. Waited too long to go on a bit of a run.
  12. Pretty obvious hook on Samberg, but why is the Bluejacket player allowed to coast into a high danger spot and bury the chance?
  13. They got it. Thanks to Scheifele. Basically held the puck all of OT, before feeding KFC.
  14. Gaffe by Peabo kind of takes a dump on a real good period by the Jets.
  15. I respect Barron for standing up for himself, but no way should he drop the gloves with Manson. Especially after taking that charge. Pionk gets embellishment for taking a shot in the back of the head? Okay.
  16. Holy smokes…. You’re hilarious. I didn’t say it never happens. Wow.
  17. You really like to argue. Sure, some situations are better for the backup QB, but most situations require QB1 getting hurt for QB2 to get any significant reps. If you don’t agree, that’s fine.
  18. Refs have to get involved with their ridiculous calls.
  19. Jets putting on a bit of a passing clinic…. Some sweet feeds.
  20. Not really? Come on man. Just got my copy in the mail today. Pretty cool.
  21. Refs trying to even things up. Two of the weakest calls you’ll ever see.
  22. That pretty much describes every QB1 - QB2 situation.
  23. For sure. And I’m not saying play aggressive and force the play at all times, but in the situation I was referencing, and one that led to the first goal, the Jets had numbers in their favour. Both obvious times to attack, but instead we chose to retreat and allow time and space. Good teams don’t do this.
  24. The Jets should’ve won that game. They played better and dominated for stretches. The 2nd goal was a bit of a back breaker. We had multiple good scoring chances and had the Predators hemmed in their zone. Once again we gave up our blue line and it killed us. The Preds player was slowing up before our zone and instead of forcing him, we backed off and allowed him to enter uncontested. One pass and it’s in the net. You just can’t retreat in those situations. It has cost us so many times this season.
