Lions signed Holley now too.
I think this would have to put walker out of the situation, they no have 3 starting American wr

It’s good for the league tho when all teams are at least attempting to be competitive. Toronto sucked last year and at least they are trying to turn that ship around, same goes to Ottawa,. BC could have a very dynamic team depending on how free agency finishes. Could be a very competitive year! Looking forward to it.

If Walker signs in BC, do we go with what we have, or do we go after Rhymes?
I don’t think so, with Adams and lawler, plus one of Bailey/Whitehead/rookie they will be fine if they don’t land the big ticket wr. Would expect them to use that money on nfl cuts.

My O/U is 5 pages. I think he signs in 4 but think we could go nuts and push it to 6.
At 5 pages? I’ll take the over on that all day! Just need another sask fan on here and let the games begin.

Ya the riders lost the grey cup winning QB on the 3rd play of the game. They then traded him to Argos this making him available for the Bombers. How different does the CFL season look last year if Simoni doesn't deliver that hit. My point being that their is so many things that go into a season to say a team won because 13 regular season games because of luck is pretty ignorant.
Would you say the bombers won by luck? I don't know, all I know is you need a lot of things to go your way to win a championship in any sport. I guess in any instance a championship team is a little lucky.
Sir this is a bomber forum. You are not allowed to say anything positive about opponents lol

Awes stats are more impressive than Kyrie. I like Kyrie also but i like Kyrie and Awe splitting reps even more.
I also think this is the last year for Bighill so bringing in AWe could be a futures move also
Career stats, they are better because he has played more games, but last year Wilson balled out and played at a high rate. Awe will hopefully be only a depth player.

Derek Dennis says there was no interest in him from CFL teams.
Maybe they became aware of his lack of understanding about fog.
What the greatest LT of all time in the cfl had no interest?

Antigha is a jack of all trade tho.
He can be a DE, which might push McCalister or a rookie DE out of the lineup.
He can play the safety, which push Alexander to the corner and a rookie DB out of the lineup.
Experience, I guess is not a bad thing.
Well if you have this versatile Antigha, combined with rookies who have been brought in, makes the see signing a bit curious.

Are you referring to Awe? He is not SAM. He plays the MIKE.
Ya my bad, half asleep still and put the wrong position and put in the wrong thread.

Not a huge fan of this signing. Sam lb isn’t a hard position to scout for. Guy is a bit of a reckless player, and where does it leave us on walker then.

Been watching a bit of the Tampa - Seattle game .... Wow, what an absolute stinker.
I don’t find that game too bad. The offence in this league seem to be pretty vanilla for the time being.

I just cant imagine the locker room after a coach makes the wrong call/gamble late in the game and loses everyone two grand...
Also gonna be hard for bad teams to recruit too players. That’s said, Seattle has good attendance for their game.

I’d be surprised if he does sign with us: but happy to hear there is conversations going on.

This is Ambrosie's & the CFLPA's doing in the new CBA. The ceiling should have gone up accordingly but didn't.
And what ever happened to the extra revenue from broadcasting deals. Wasn’t 20% supposed to go towards the cap? And TSN signed new deals and didn’t Mexico football league sign a broadcasting deal

To be honest, I'd take 27 year old Pfeffer over 33 year old Maver - Pfeffer is a very good punter.
Wasn’t pfeffer the worst punter in the league last year?

neither has been utilized properly...with Lapo gone..we will see if things change...Whitehead though had better kick return numbers than Grant..And I thik he is the better kick returner of the 2...Grant being better PR
True but if bailey or a rookie outshines then I can’t see all if whitehead Nelson or grant staying

yeah we have shed slary as well as added, and the the re-ups for Hardrick..Bryant...Adams were small bumps and ina few cases same money...Jake isn't breaking the bank either
Only gy really who has a significant raise is Woli..and possibly Couture..though that is his 3rd contract now as well, so it won't be huge like coming off an entry level deal...and guys like Bailey..Lawler..Grant..Nelson..Whitehead are cheap like borsche
I would assume one of whitehead or Charles has the pontential if being cut. Already have a returner and neither has really excelled as a wr yet

Yep i will, we have the same weaknesses that we had last year with our defensive positional play and our PK is also weak again..that's on the coach but hey if your happy with this same system than more power to you, not even gonna look at our pp. BTW if Helle had not been all world this year we would be a bottom feeder this year ....
Look at the pk numbers when Lowry and coop are in compared to when they are out. Sometimes it doesn’t matter the system, the coach but the fault lies on the players for getting it done.

It also goes to show how not winning and not receiving the $2000 bonus can really bring down the morale on a team
