  1. crazy talk, right? lol... you'd think the way that TBurguss was talking that Nichols took an undefeated team into a game where they lost their starting QB and was replaced by a guy that few knew and had thrown as many INTs as he had TDs in his career, wasn't able to move his team or get in the endzone for 3/4 of a game and then Nichols would go on to throw 3 INTs in a losing effort... oh wait... nevermind... move along, nothing to see here...
  2. his stat line for the Banjo Bowl was worse, highlighted by 3 INTs... but I will admit, I saw something that day that I didn't think was humanly possible... I saw a man throw not 1, but 2 interceptions on screen passes, to d lineman to boot, who them promptly returned them a combined total of 200 yards for 2 touchdowns... mind blowing actually... but my brother in law has a two headed calf too, another one of the worlds little mysteries of craziness...
  3. so I've been told... that and I wouldn't fit in there they tell me as well... I have all my teeth and I'm not married to my sister...
  4. yeah, that's the game I thought we were talking about,,, oh well... yeah, I've never been to Saskatchewan...
  5. well, let's just say that the score doesn't accurately reflect the play on the field... didn't Nichols get yanked in that game? hardly an event that happens unless you're getting your ass handed to you...
  6. and I traveled over 1000 miles, one way, to witness that beat down as well...
  7. I haven't had a job in over 6 years myself... love. it. but it was a beautiful day today here in Missouri so I took the opportunity to get my baby out and run some errands and tryto wear out the rear tires... not to difficult when you have over 700 hp under the hood... just sayin'...
  8. ummm... he also leads the league in 30+ yard completions as well...
  9. Because if you recall, Harris only had 34 yds of rushing last time...
  10. oh I know, but I think it would be a lot more effective... I wouldn't hate seeing Streveler in the pistol or gun and do that quick throw out to Lucky either with Woli providing escort...
  11. I'd use a lot of motion and misdirection and take the ball to the outside instead of trying to bang it up the middle... after all Streveler is a 4.5 - 40 guy... oh, and he'd truck ya if you give him the chance, lol...
  12. hey, don't forget about that failed hook slide in game 3 this year against Ottawa...
  13. while I know that what you are capable of doing in college doesn't necessarily translate to the pros, but... Streveler's acheivements alone in his senior season should make you think that the guy can't be too bad... 14. 2 of the 3 games are going to be played in 'their house'... other than that, meh...
  15. I agree, I think we're going to go 6-3 over the last half of the season...
  16. quite shocking actually... sometimes it may just boil down to matter of trusting that young, inexperienced talent... sure they'll make some mistakes but you don't really teach the 'good ones' much in the first place...
  17. you don't think? if we were to lose all 3 we will have dug ourselves a pretty deep hole... but maybe not, you could be right...
  18. the next 3 are going to make or break us probably... I'd like to think we can get 2 of the 3... probably a little wishful thinking, but hey... the schedule coming up for all of the West teams is going to be interesting... almost all division games for everyone so you have to think that they can play themselves out as well... unfortunately, of SSK, Calgary, Edmonton and us, we probably have the hardest schedule remaining... we have SSK 3 times, Calgary 2 times, Montreal 2 times, Hamilton and Edmonton... SSK has us 3 times, Edmonton 2 times, and then Calgary, Montreal, BC, Ottawa, Toronto each once... Edmonton has SSK 2 times, Calgary 2 times, Hamilton 2 times, and then us, Ottawa and BC once each... Calgary has Edmonton 2 times, us 2 times, and then Hamilton, SSK, Montreal, BC, and Toronto once each...
  19. you know the couple of games that I watched him while we was in Montreal it was clear to see that the guy had some arm talent... but the abuse he took, it was like there wasn't an O line at all... he may have the yips but I will say that he earned them as well...
  20. these tickets would be a lot cheaper too is it was the second time being sold as well... season ticket holders are forced to buy the preseason tickets in their 'bundle' so the team has already been paid for them... the ones you find for sale are the games that season tickets holders aren't going to go to... I checked on tickets for the Chiefs preseason game 3 and they were selling lower level 50 yard line for $180 US for row 30 something, and $300 US I believe for first 3 rows? you could get the seats at the top of the stadium for $40 US if I remember correctly, but, they are so far up I'm afraid to go there... heaven knows you can't see the game from there, well you can, just not what's going on, even at $40... I really don't understand why they even considered coming to Canada to play a game, surely there was some college stadium somewhere that they could of gotten in to... nothing against Canada but they had to know that if they were going to come here that in most cases the seating alone is generally half of what a NFL stadium has... the Oakland Coliseum is one of the smallest NFL stadiums but it still holds almost 60,000, but it also has 140 luxury suites that command a pretty dollar... couple this with the exchange rate of the dollar and they should have known that they would be pricey themselves out of being 'reasonable' for just about any fan... for those going, I'm happy for you that you're getting the chance and I hope you have a great game to watch! for those not going due to price, I don't blame you , I wouldn't either for the same reasons...
