I too would like to see Jenkins for Person, and Baily for a depth Canuck.....I really like Allen and Holm, Housten, Nichols, Parker with Lawson backing up, I do like our LB core, Griffen and Woodsby both have impressed me, and although one could argue the two Canucks should have had more reps, they do seem to form solid depth, If a rested Willy can find his form, with Jake, Lawson, Woods rotating in between him and Vaughters with Baily and Jenkins actually rotating I believe the D-line will be decent. Overall. I am not concerned about the defence, especially if we have at least a bit of rotation along the D-line......I like our specials, I think we have an advantage on that 3rd over Mtrl. It's all the offence that scares me......save two games they have been utterly terrible this year....and I mean terrible, look at the ints. this year.... we won a game with what 9 passes...and are going into teh playoffs with two completely putrid offensive games back to back.... any one of the three qbs we have played at times have a D player in their face almost instantly...and can't find open receivers...it can't be all three...it has to be routes and schemes...., heck week 18 we saw a guy come clean through the A gap......untouched.....our deep ball is virtually nonexistent...at least to our own team that is.... we forget to manage the clock and seem to have little to no comprehension of situational awareness, we appear to gamble when we should play safe and play safe when we should gamble, save for one game we have not seemed to build on plays throughout the game to get into a rhythm....I don't have the yardage stats, but we must have the worst flats passing attack in the league...false starts, offsides, no ends like it were preseason most of the year...I could go on but I don't want to be too depressing..... IF our offence even plays a decent game, like 200 yards passing, no turnovers avoids avoidable penalties and uses our run game, we will win with the defence and special teams we have...we can and I dare say "should" with our experience win this game...but the offence at least needs to show up and protect the ball.......This year though that is a tough ask

1st star to Strevelor recovery...... Baily, the two new ends, Shay, Holm, MCI and Peterson all had great games Crunches were all the Also going down...

Our d has done good, specials good...nice to get some guys reps Baily and Shay have looked recent in the first half....in person Ayers is really good on specials...while I don't always love the way he is used on the roster, I see his value on specials.

Well, the weather is great...but after watching three QBs man this offence all with the same results.....I have officially concluded that it doesn't matter who we have at Qb....or receiver the offence just sucks

Honestly the defence doesn't look bad.......We got nothing from our D-line for the most part so a couple new ends, get a chance to maybe show something.....

Did a player/players say something to the media after the game about Hogan or is all conjecture?

I am also leaning on a BC Mtrl Cup this year......I got to know Buck outside of football, and he is a really nice family guy, so based on that I hope if we don't win it BC does for Buck.

Quickly looked at the games left and the standing and my perfectly imperfect crystal ball has the West playoff picture looking like this; Sask 1st at 13-5 and awaiting the winner of the western semi between BC at 11-7 hosting Cal. at 9-9 in that Western semi. Wpg. and Edm. end tied at 8-10, but due to point differential Wpg crosses over to face Mtrl. in the East semi as Hammy who has the season series with Mtrl. awaits the winner

We are so inconsistent, I have no idea what to expect. When we are on, we can beat anyone, but we just can't "stay on" it has been a really frustrating season. I know the Riders are resting a number of starters, or at least potentially resting a handful, but yet I still don't have much confidence in this game, and then we play Mtrl. who it appears are in a dog fight with Hammy, so it doesn't get any easier...Edm was our only "easier" (team with a losing record) we had, and we looked completely incompetent for large stretches of that game...so back-ups or not I am very skeptical....Zach does not play well in cooler weather, and the weather is not looking great....

Offensive game plan was offensive.... Zach had a terrible game, every throw over what 15 yards was a bad throw.....he had guys underneath but still forced long balls....giving him two bad picks....should have been more...Wilson bailed him out big on his only TD, it was an extremely under throw pass yet again... The Oline couldn't handle Edmonton's D rush all game... And yet again we had Strevelor playing receiver......but it's all good we had an excess of LB's again.....who cares about offensive right...as long as we have enough LB and DB we will be alright.... 3rd and 4 throw a bomb...of course a bad throw to boot....why not....every deep ball to that point didn't work, so situationally another deep shot seems right on par ....40 seconds left in the half, tight game, screw the smart plays......long bomb....straight to a pick with a severely undertaken pass and points to the other team...situational awareness be damned...we are too smart to be make conventional play calls on this offence,..... It's not just this past game...this offence has been terrible save for possibly two anomaly weeks...... Oh well maybe they just need a few more vet days on offence...oh and maybe take another offensive player off I think we could use one more LB ..that will work I'm sure next week I'm sure.......

Why the @#$& did we throw it 40 yards down the field at that point of the game....I don't mind the shot but terrible timing to try it.....look at the @#$&+$& clock under a minute, damn situational awareness rears it's ugly ugly head again this year.......it so frustrating....

Our offence was different yesterday.....no I don't just mean Zach vs. Strev. I mean the blocking schemes the receivers routes, the fact we looked like we played the clock again, snaps drawing the playing clock to almost zero......it was not the personale that made the difference (yes Zach vs. Strev....but I am talking weeks...not just the last two) Either Hogan didn't scheme/call this game or he completely changed what he has been doing

Our routes are so predictable, all decent DB's are jumping them.....we are not tricking anyone on offence

I agree with most, Strev. Looked bad.....but so did Zach for the most part......I can't fully defend Strev. but our offence has been garbage all year.....including Brady's usage. I really believe the issues are far deeper than Strevelor...far deeper

We need a better D-line.....but offence is just terrible..... It s a pattern all year, this offence is no good, and coming out of the half it is terrible....our turn over ratio is terrible, or route trees are easy to defend, our o-line blocking schemes don't seem to work, no QB has had time and or about to consistently look even decent.... Sorry to those clamouring for a different QB....it won't matter...nothing will change
