Cleaned up a few posts in this thread.   It is an introduction thread, lets leave it to that.

I, for one, have to say that I completely disagree with wanna-b-fanboy.  The Riders are not lucky.  Nobody who is forced to live in Regina can ever be called lucky.  The Riders are fluky.

You are absolutely right, good has nothing to with it and W/L do tell the story.
    Why are you arguing again?

Is it the toilet comment that you are upset about? I concede- it is a very nice stadium, but it still looks like a men's room toilet:

Welcome aboard, at least until the Bombers play the Stamps again. Then you will be treated as a leper.

CFL Game #82 Notes & Trends - Calgary vs Saskatchewan:
 Both teams Off a Loss: This Calgary-Saskatchewan matchup will be the first time in over 6 years that BOTH clubs will be coming off a loss. That game was on August 25, 2012 and it is even more unusual that they rank #1-2 in the West in doing so.
 Season Series / 1st Place: Both are on the line in this game and a win is the Riders' only chance to keep their hopes alive for a bye into the Western Final. They split two meetings in Regina to tie the series and must win in Calgary by any margin. After a 10- game losing streak to Calgary they have won 2 of the last 3 meetings including a 30-7 victory at McMahon in their last visit.
 Shutout last week: The Riders failed to score at Winnipeg and were shut out for the first time since a 24-0 defeat to Edmonton on Jul 26/14. They were held to season-lows of 170 yards and 12 first downs last week and ran just 6 offensive plays in Winnipeg's end of the field. The 170 yards was their lowest Net Offence since Sep 12/15, also vs Winnipeg (169 yds).
 CFL Tackles Lead at 101: By way of season-long stats review conducted last week across all 69 games to date, a number of plays were changed to reflect totally accurate Tackle counts. Also, a Calgary request resulted in a change for Alex Singleton who received one additional stop from last week's game. Singleton and Adam Bighill therefore both enter this week with 101 tackles each.
 Offensive TDs - 22 vs 41 in 2017: The Riders are #8 with just 22 TD drives to Week #18 and have now gone their last 35 possessions without a Touchdown. After 15 games last year, Saskatchewan had 41 TDs on Offence.
 Micah Johnson - More every year: Comes into this game in the midst of 6-game stretch with 7 Sacks and has one in each of the last 3 games. He is up to #2 in the CFL with 11 which has extended his unique career feat. Johnson has increased his Sack total in every season of his career - 2, 3, 6, 7, 9 & 11, and is up to 38 in a total of 78 games.
 Bo Levi Mitchell: Needs to average 216.3 passing yards per game to reach 5,000 for the second time in his career. In 2018, he is #3 in yards per game 290.1 on pace for 5,221, 164 short of his career-best (5,385 in 2016). He needs to win this week to avoid having back-to-back losses for just the second time in his CFL career.
 Mitchell All-Time QB Win %: After last week's defeat, Bo Levi Mitchell's career winning % is now 68-13 .831 with a 12-3 .800 mark in 2018. Mitchell's all-time record as a starter at McMahon Stadium is now 38-5 .884 after the loss to BC
 No TDs or FG Attempts: The Riders did not have either a TD or even a field goal attempt last week. A first since 2014.
 Terry Williams: Leads the CFL in punt return average at 13.3 yards and in kick return TDs with 3.

Hands down the most unstable, insufferable fanbase in the CFL.
Bombers on four-game win streak: "They're just lucky."
Bombers blank the Riders: "Riders didn't show up. It happens. All teams lay eggs."
Riders were an absolute pile of dog turds today: "Lucky Bombers. This game proves nothing. 1990!"
And then having the audacity to call O'Shea a classless ****. Uh, do you know who coaches your overrated team?
    Garbage fans through and through.

    FWIW from 3Downnation:
"The Lions’ victory also gave the Bombers’ post-season hopes a massive boost: Winnipeg can now secure a post-season berth with at home against Calgary next week. They also hold the tie-breaker with B.C. on point differential and will finish ahead of them in the standings if they finish with the same record.
Winnipeg can also finish second in the West if Saskatchewan loses their two remaining games and the Bombers win out.
The big game on Saturday is the Calgary-Saskatchewan tilt. A win by the Stampeders and they win the West while a Saskatchewan victory keeps them in the hunt for the division title (while also ending Winnipeg’s hopes of hosting a playoff game.
While B.C. can still finish second even with a Rider win, a Calgary victory helps their cause as well. Essentially, both Winnipeg and B.C. fans should be cheering for Calgary (if they weren’t already.)"

Hi, I’m Scorch and I’m a Stamps fan.
Like many of you, I can’t stand the Riders and their insufferable fanbase. Everything in their organization from their management to their players to their fans is vile. I’ll never understand why people need to drive 13 hours to another province, clean out the visiting city’s supply of watermelon, and cause so much chaos in a drunken stupor with the locals. I was never an anti rider fan before but they seemed so persistent on hating the Stamps and our fans that eventually, the hate has become mutual.
anyways, the enemy of my enemy is my friend so I hope to laugh at riderfans with the lot of you Bomber fans

I used to have a lot of respect for Hughes. Classy Stamps player but if it was all about the sack numbers in Calgary it seems that's all he's totally about now. He disappears for entire games now if he doesn't pressure the qb & when it comes to stopping the run. And now, this. Lost a ton of respect for him. Even his quote today about having support & people rallying behind him to help him get through this. Dude, just doesn't get it. This ain't about anyone helping him cope. It's about  being stupid & putting other people lives in danger. I'm sure a couple of sacks will put things right.

Rider fans are funny. Can't wait to see them react when a team doesn't give them the freebie turnover points and they look like they did in the summer when they all wanted to fire Jones. That will be good reading.

It’s not because he’s an athlete. Doesn’t matter if he’s a movie star or rock star or blue collar. We’ve all been educated on this topic. And we have to make choices. That’s the issue. What’s $30 for a cab when you know better?
And that’s the point, he should known better because he’s part of an organization that is backing safe drive.
He made a choice. It was the wrong one. He’s paying for it now with his suspension, and having his name put out there. And his name has to be out there. It might stop at least one person from doing the same because they can see no one is above this.
What do we know what he’s going through? Weak. We’re all susceptible because of our own troubles, but life is above football or sports, so yes, we have to talk about it and keep reminding people to do the right thing. It’s easier than you think.
