A couple of FTR's:
He got 155 yards, not 250. If he had played 4 quarters that would be 200, not 250 yards. Streveler put up more points in his less than 1/3 of playing time. Folks who question Nichols doesn't necessarily hate him. (I don't) How many points we've scored isn't a Nichols stat. It's a team stat. 133 of our points are off turn overs. Streveler has scored more TD's than Nichols through the air and on the ground.Some were short yardage that were set up by Nichols. Wins aren't a QB stat either. They are a team stat. Flame away.😎

The word "hate" sure does get tossed around a lot now-a-days. It has caught up to "love" as a word that is overused to the point where it has lost all meaning and significance.
I mean, c'mon...Do I hate Nichols because I point out that his strutting seemed silly considering he had a 72 yard TD pass to Adams in the first quarter yet ended that quarter with 71 yards passing?  Or that he only completed 10 passes in 3 quarters for 155 yards? Except for the interception Streveler had basically the same numbers as Nichols and is a rookie. Shouldn't we be expecting more from a seasoned vet?

Statistics are interesting but not absolute determinants in sports. What they do is chart trends and are good predictor of the future. Most in this forum were expecting that the Rider reliance on their defence to bail out an anemic offence would cause the team to implode at some point and it has. Spectacularly. Similarly, the Bombers expecting their defence to carry the team when the offence for whatever reason is barely getting the job done almost certainly will fail, perhaps at a critical juncture. The Bombers may defy this, but history would indicate that this is unlikely to be the case. We shall see.

Listen, I agree that Nichols sucks but comparing his career numbers to Collaros’ is sort of unfair. Sure, in the end they look similar but Collaros had a couple years of MVP level play combined with now two years abysmal play. Nichols has largely been consistently average with one season of above average. 

YEAH..but Collaros is barely a .500 QB....and Nichols is like 10 games over .500...and over the course of the last 3 years is well over .500 as a starter...and that was having to put up a whack of points to compensate for a leaky defense to get those wins...hence the difference...

Calling out a well paid athlete for below average play is not being a troll for goodness sake.
 

What does the number of posts I've made on this board have to do with my ability to recognize people getting their panties in a bunch because of the comments of a stranger? You telling me you can't see the emotion being expressed by those commenting to NS? Why so much emotion? You think if Nichols gets traded next year he'll give 2 poops about you or the Bombers?

I suppose if it was just this one game I would agree but this has been typical of his play all year...even going back to the end of last year.
A guy that feels the need to strut like that after completing one pass tells me he isn't all that confident in himself.
I'm glad we got the win but I have real concerns  about Nichols and I don't think the kind of numbers he's putting up will lead us to the promised land.

This is all I could think of when I saw him strutting. Maybe he wants a new nickname?
 

One good game is not enough to take the Bomber defence off the endangered species list.

Halls defensive tactics in late game scenarios are terrifying. Its like he has no ideas and panics 

Far too many "implosions" late under Hall....

He was actually shaking his head to signal he wasn't going in. He even spoke to the camera and said something like..."There's only 1min 11sec to go. I'm not going in." Then smiled. Suitor followed up with something about if Reilly's injury was serious then Glenn would be getting the next start and there was no point putting him in and risking him getting injured in a lost cause.
As an aside...and for how often I think the refs have it in for us...I was surprised there wasn't a penalty call for interference on O'neill  on the punt block. Not sure who it was but someone tackled him as he was going for the ball. I thought for sure they were gonna toss a flag.
