  1. Yeah, is he still doing time? With the Canadian justice system, I'm sure he was out years ago.
  2. They could have pursued him harder had they wanted to. I guess we didn't.
  3. I knew Brian Jack. He was the manager of the store upstairs at the Provencher Ave Fit Stop where all the Bombers worked out at that time.
  4. Pink to sing the US National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Does the NFL really want it televised? Trump is licking his massively oversized jowls over that.
  5. What do you expect when kids don't fail anymore? All those commercials warning parents not to let their kids eat detergent have now gone to waste. The damage is unprecedented.
  6. Someone gonna lose their job. Someone gonna lose their job.
  7. The CFL needs to cash in on this video bonanza.
  8. For sure. but still it looks like her neck was screwed up before & that's why the kick did the damage.
  9. In fairness to Banks, that kick isn't any worse than being thrown hard into the turnbuckle or coming off some aerial move like coming off the top rope or wrestlers landing on a group of wrestlers outside the ring. I will say that the kicks you see in today's matches are ridiculous. The Japanese wrestler who injured Brian Kendrick & the other injuries suffered. Kicks to the head should be banned. There's a guy in NXT who all he does is kick. Wrestlers are getting injured.
  10. Well, exciting.
  11. Paige's wrestling career with the WWE is over due to a neck injury. I saw the video of how she was injured. Paige was kicked in the back by Sasha Banks. While it was a somewhat stiff kick, it wasn't that hard. If that caused her injury then she had no business being in the ring in the first place as it was inevitable she'd get hurt again. On social media, some fans are harshly criticizing Banks for kicking Paige that way but again, it was hardly her fault. Anyway, WWE won't allow her to compete so her career may be over permanently.
  12. First of all, Moore got a lot of money but $175,000 isn't going crazy. Second, who else did they overpay? Those 14 & 15 teams were brutal.
  13. If a player can get top dollar then good for him. However, when other positions go wanting because the team can't afford to pay the players already there because of it then that's just stupidity on the part of the GM. It sounds like Sunderland will be doing just that. .
  14. Can't compare that to what the Esks are paying Reilly, Walker & Bowman.
  15. What a disappointment Ryan is. A couple of years ago, I thought he'd have made a great President but no more. He & the rest of the GOP are spineless cowards. They could do something yet they don't.
  16. I don't know about that. Having so much money tied up in just 3 players isn't a great way to manage the salary cap. What about the other pieces of the puzzle with the Esks that needed to be signed? Looks like they'll go elsewhere. I hope this isn't what Walters does. I can't see John Hufnagel doing that with the Stamps. Or Wally in BC when he was GM.
  17. Just fix the PI & IC rules. The way they are it stinks. Defenders should be allowed to fight for the ball. The way it stands now, a defrnder can be called for IC if a receiver deliberately runs into them. They have to allow more physicality. Keep the coaches challenges to one each per game.
  18. Heap blame? He is the DC. The man in charge. He'd get praise if his defense played great & criticism when they didn't so it goes both ways. Doug Brown being an experienced DL knows what goes on when it comes to team dynamics. I guess the question I have is if there was freelancing & rogue play by certain players to bring glory onto themselves then why wasn't it dealt with swiftly by Hall & O'Shea? Some benchings should have happened. If it continued then player releases. I think Brown was asking the same thing & pointing out the lack of accountability by the players. Why didn't the coaches do something?
  19. Never try to explain quantum time mechanics.
  20. I know that. Thank you btw.
  21. Defensive halfback position for the simple reason the slots have a running start on every pass play. To be able to cover the slots well even with such a big disadvantage is a huge adjustment from American football & takes a special kind of player.
  22. Fred Glick was our DC back then, wasn't he?
  23. Yes, you do argue. Vague statements thrown in? You're pretty direct. But fired coaches while the boss stays is to me, throwing them under the bus. If that's definitive, so be it. BTW, I've never had a problem with your posting style.
  24. Yeah, you are. You do it all the time & get all pissy about it when you do on any number of subjects here. You're right & everyone else is wrong so how can you say you don't? LOL.
  25. James Comey handed Trump the election...
