What was the point of the video? Was it sarcasm by a desperate actor going down? Or someone who truly believes he is innocent? But then there's that sexual assault charge in front of him now coming at him like a runaway freight train. He's going to get squashed methinks.

James West was primarily outside as he played with Greg Battle. He could play inside as he did with the Stamps before he came to the Bombers & did so on occassion but OLB is where he made his mark as a Bomber. West will never be considered the all time MLB with the Bombers but may do so as an OLB. Phil Minnick was a MLB. One of the best. Due to a serious knee injury he was moved to the outside after he missed the entire 1971 season & was replaced by another outstanding MLB Mickey Doyle. Minnick made his name as a MLB & not an OLB. he should be inside. He wasn't the same player after his injury although he did play well. CFL did not keep tackling stats during his playing career. Harry Walters was an outstanding MLB for the Bombers from 1975 thru the 78 season. Hard hitting linebacker who was an all star as I recall. He deserves to be on this list as a MLB. He was a CFL West Division All Star in 1975 & 76. An All Canadian at MLB as well in 1976. He had 12 interceptions for 190 yards. The CFL did not keep tackling stats during that time which is a shame but he was as I recall a tackling machine.

I'd be all for going back to a 16 week schedule. Then we're looking at the second week of November for Grey Cup. Eighteen games is too much.

So, I want to say something without degenerating this thread into insults, accusations & name calling. Saying Rick Shaw was white & David Shaw was black & therefore aren't related is somehow considered racist but not fact? Saying the name of Rick Shaw who is Caucasian is also a similar but different word to a rickshaw which is a 1 man cart used to transport people in China but not Japan (to correct an error of reference) is somehow racist but not fact? Other than myself mentioning skin colour between the two Shaws to clarify they are not related thru marriage or birth in the event Jack Wells was being serious , there is no "disgusting racism" here. For clarification, there is none of this on display in this thread... https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/racism I have yet to see anyone on this board who believes in or espouses the views of racism. -
I'm trying to remember how old I was when I realized Santa wasn't real but the mists of time have made it hard to remember. Maybe 8 or 9? Still, though...

We have more bye weeks than the NFL.

That's morbid for Christmas Day. You post some weird stuff sometimes.

Stock market is tanking. Tarriffs are killing the hot economy. Problems with China, Russia & that damned wall that the Mexicans won't pay for. The R word is now being used more & more. If a recession does happen then Trump can kiss his Presidency goodbye. The Mueller enquiry is closing in.... I think Trump is just about done.

They've established that the lady never bought the SUV & yet she says she's hopeful she won't have to pay off the fraudulent loan. ******* banks, I've always hated them & that will never change.

You mean Chinese. Rick Shaw. As in... RickShaw... or... rickshaw. They weren't related. Rick was white. David was black. -
As a Bomber fan, it sure sucked to see Don Jonas in a Ti Cat uniform. Don was so dejected by that trade that he retired right after the 74 season. He just didn't want to play anymore. He wanted to retire a Blue Bomber & he finally got his wish in 2017. Then Blue Bomber GM Earl Lunsford could be a prick if he had issues with any of his players. The way he did with Jonas at the end in Winnipeg.

You got to see him play before the rest of us. He played in the 1957 Rose Bowl & the Grey Cup that year. -

Winnipeg Blue Bomber Defensive back Bud Grant (#78) & an unidentified teammate attempt to knock down a pass intended for Hamilton Tiger Cats Offensive End Jack Logan (#73) during the 1953 Grey Cup played on November 28th at Varsity Stadium in Toronto. The Ti Cats defeated the Bombers 12-6 that day. Meanwhile, the pressing question on their minds were, "Is there too much passing & if so, is it still football?" Survey says, No & Yes.

October 14, 1974. The Blue Bombers faced the Hamilton Tiger Cats & quarterback Don Jonas(#7) for the first & only time at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton after Jonas was traded for former Hamilton qb Chuck Ealey on September 2nd. The Bombers dug deep & came away with a hard fought 19-14 victory that day. The Bombers had played two days earlier in Ottawa & were defeated 27-10 by the Rough Riders. The Bombers had played 3 games in 8 days starting October 6th & went 2-1 over that time. Just a punishing schedule that was common in those days with the dreaded "Eastern Swing". What made it worse was the limited rosters back then of only 34 players.
