Well, this is what happens when you're the most successful franchise in the CFL but for some reason don't want to spend to th cap limit & blame the $400,000 shortfall on the CFLPA. The Bombers looked awful last night. I haven't seen such a putrid performance since the mid teens. Osh just seems in a cloud half the time. He's designated the worst starting Canadian as our starting NG in a 3 man front or at RDT in a four man. Jake gets stood up, pushed back, turned inside & outside, can't see the play coming in his stance as he actually does hold his head up as it flops down. Otherwise he'd see the manufacturers tags in his chest plate of his shoulder pads. He still can't see. No moves just a straight bull rush. Yet, he starts at the expense of younger & more effective players. What's scary is Osh has some kind of warped coaches code that says he'll start him as long as he wants to play. So then, in 2036 at age 48, in he goes as the starter on his twinkletoes. Bridges was having trouble covering last night at his corner spot. If anyone says we don't miss Tyrell Ford at corner then they're lying. Two huge coverage busts in the secondary. Last week we had one as well but we got away with it. This time we paid dearly. That has to be cleaned up. But how do you clean up the secondary when the DL is a clusterfuck with Thomas in there? I was concerned letting Lawler go & keeping Schoen who really is still recovering from a bad knee injury. IF Schoen doesn't last the season, we're in huge trouble. We play Stearns but I don't get the reasoning as he really is a "nothing" receiver. Right now, we're the ninth best receiving corps in the CFL. Cl;ercius is allowed to shine but he's a posession receiver. We have one deep threat in Keric Wheatfall. Demski is still capable of making big plays but he isn't the same receiver he was 2-3 years ago. I was also concerned that Osh would do stupid Osh things with Streveler. And sure enough he never let me down. Streveler shows he can actually play qb in the CFL & when we're down in the 4th quarter & the game was out of reach last night, does he play Strev to give the guy some reps? Nope. Osh keeps Zach in the game. No doubt, Osh will say, "I never took Zach out as he gave us the best chance to win". Our head coach is dumber than a sack of jackhammers.

It's also Sneak A Peek Night at the Stampede which officially starts tomorrow morning with the Stampede Parade. Admission tonite into the Stampede is half price. This was the evening we used to took our kids to the Stampede when they were little to save money. So, the Stamps decided to compete with that. If I had a family, I know where I'd be.

This off season was like buying a loaf of stale bread. The excuse to not spend money in free agency & blaming the CFLPA looks petty & stupid. They have to be calld out for that.

No, watching the game at home. I have mobility issues. I can go to games at PAS but I stopped going to Stamps games 3 or 4 years ago. Too hard to get around. Steep stairs with no handrails for balance & safety. I have to stay in my seat at halftime as it's too much of hassle to get to the lower concourse where the concessions & bathrooms are. Too far to walk with a cane where we used to park our car. Just a ******* old barn that should be torn down. Eisenhower was President & Diefenbaker was PM when that place was built. In Winnipeg, we have two elevators, upper & lower concourses & the grandstands don't have 60 rows to climb.

Don't ever question The Trinity. They walk on water. They are beyond reproach. I see no difference between losing three straight Grey Cups as compared to 3 straight Western Finals. Losing is still losing.

Defensively, you still have to pressure the qb to make bad decisions & throws. You don't just give up & say, he's too fast for us getting the ball off so why bother? Really, who is truly fast? Harris, Adams, Kelly, Zach, Rourke, Brown (when he plays), Davis Alexander can zing it. Of those, I'd think there's only 3 guys you can truly say have quick releases. But they still get hurried, hit & sacked.

Kelly got lucky. Maybe we would have won if Liegghio had made that field goal but it was blocked. As they say in baseball, the ball was low & a little outside. It was going wide before it was blocked. Our kicker looked absolutely spooked as he lined up to kick. Lol. I get it but all 3 losses pissed me off.

That makes no sense. We "broke" MBT therefore we lost as the backup Chad Kelly who never played suddenly figured our defense out in two series? If only we hadn't chased MBT out then (sigh) we'd have won.... We'd have won. If that is indeed true, that's an embarassment.

Why would Osh put Zach back in with a nearly severed finger tip sewed up & most of his throwing hand frozen in last year's Grey Cup? The decision was a disaster. Why would he play four players who were too injured to play in 2023 & had no business being on the field in the Grey Cup? Because Osh coaches with some kind of warped coaching code that he uses. Instead of playing Wilson or Dolegala, he throws Zach back in who tells the team in the huddle he's in trouble as he can't throw the ball. Then a year earlier, he plays injured guys like Bighill, Alexander, Schoen & Demski in the GC instead of his backupsd at least compete. We lose.... And Noeller wonders why poster here ask questions??? I don't blindly go this is The Trinity therefore they can't be questioned.

I'm old enough to remember P & M when it allowed pedestrians before being closed in 1979. It should be noted that most Winnipeggers didn't want the intersection closed back then but city planners knew best & closed it anyway. I felt the same way.
