Did you notice Dukes called LaPo "Sir", a couple of times during their halftime sideline interview. He must have known LaPo was a former CFL coach. Nice to see Dukes call him sir after the debacle that was Chad Kelly & his arrogance. I just can't see how Kelly can ever play another down for the Argos. Chungh only plays well if the guys around him do. If they don't, then he's lost. Yeah, I love to give it to Chungh because BC constantly makes him one of the highest paid guards in the CFL. He's not that good & he makes big time CFL money.

IIRC, the three top qb free agents in 2014 were 1. Zach Colaros. 2. Mike Reilly & 3. Drew Willy. The first two were never coming here. Willy had nowhere else to go. Willy with that gdmnd shitty OL took more pounding than a piniatta at a children's party. He had no chance to succeed here. In the end, the punishment he took as our qb gave him PTSD. He was seeing phantom defensive ends & linebackers coming at him from everywhere. He was finished when he was traded to the Argos.

Sukh Chungh on one play looked like a pylon. The Bombers at least have a semblance of an OL. That Lions group just stinks. Great to see a team "with such high expectations" according to every panelist on TSN get knocked off its pedestal. Speaking of TSN, Paul LaPolice has to be used way better than he is now on TSN. The guy is a walking football factory of knowledge & he engages with the camera so people will love him. What do the producers at TSN do? Hey, let's try him in the booth for a game. He excels. Check. Let's put him on the sidelines for a game. He excels. Check. Let's put him in a corner with but not with the other studio panelists because he shows them all up. He excels. Check. The guy needs to be TSN's main talking head as he excels at whatever he does even if it bruises a few egos in the studio. The guy is a natural. And I'll take Farhan Lalji over Kate Bierness as host anytime.

Without flipping the position to American then just who do you bring in?

I'll disagree & say Stanley Bryant was the guy who started our turnaround. He could have stayed in calgary & be part of two Grey Cups while we struggled. To see a generational player like that come here was absolutely amazing. Once a player of his calibre came here then others followed. Like we evaluated returners last year? We knew in 5 minutes they all sucked.

I was watching that EPIC comeback by the Riders against the annual cellar dweller Elks this afternoon & two things came to mind: 1. Different year, same Elks. 2. And TBurgess thinks our secondary is bad? HFS.

We had no returner last time when Grant was injured. We learned a whole lot of nothing from that. We've done the exact same thing except... Grant ain't coming back. Why can't we sign a free agent returner. I don't care about the salary cap. There's not a couple of pieces of deadwood on the roster we could get rid of?? Looked like there was plenty to me on Thursday just filling space, including some coaches.

I don't believe he's regressing. One game. talk to me after the Banjo Bowl. If he is still struggling at that time then okay, I'll buy in but not yet. The sky is not falling. If that play bothered anyone, c'mon.... That play didn't bother me. The rest of the game did though as we were so inept.

Of course it'll change it. CTV is a regular tv network & TSN is cable. TSN has 5 channels. Sometines CFL games are on the other channels like TSN 3 or 4. Not on the main channel they subscribe to.

Could the chipped balls have had anything to do with the overthrows Zach had in the end zone? We'll never know.

O'Shea's also been here 11 seasons & the words & actions may be falling on deaf ears. He'd be at about the end of his shelf life as a Head Coach here, I'd think.

Some guys should be told it's time to move on but Jake is a coach's favourite. Is starting 10 a failure to recruit or a tribute to the depth to the Canadians we have? I'm thinking it's the latter. To me, that's a huge concern. When MOS thinks the Canadian backups are better than the Americans they have brought in that's a scary thought. Gauthier is a prime example. Our HC will go over Niagra Falls believing he's better by playing him over any American while Biggie is out.

Roster management is terrible. Starting ten Canadians was ludicrous. Is there some kind of participation award for being big heroes??? Oh yeah, we get a supplementary draft pick. Big deal.

One game.... I saw a lot of other players look lost & disinterested out there offensively. Oliveira, Demski & Schoen at times. Give these guys another week of prepping to get the bugs out. Maybe we should point fingers at the Head Coach for the way he got his team ready to play this game.
