Yes, Streveler never played Ford. You said Ford outplayed Streveler. Again, your words. Manziel never got his pension. Ford is the worst starter in the CFL. That is a fact. It's not even close. He's 9th out of 9. The only reason Fajardo isn't playing is the wish that a Canadian qb can win the Elks some games which explains why the Elks having been such a losing organization for years. They've made the qb position political. They aren't playing Cody Fajardo, the best qb on the Elks roster that gives them the best chance to win. Ford will win some games. Maybe 3 or 4. They gave Ford starter money but he's never proved anything. He ain't worth it. Maybe he will be worth it, someday. Right now, he's a coach killer.

It is relevant. Injuries affect everyone differently. don't know how that injury will affect him. He may be able to put it out of his mind & play or it may change his style of play. As Booch said on another thread, Streveler has reinvened himself as a qb throwing the new way so his fundamentals now are very good. I"ve been following Chris on Instagram this off season in Arizona & I've sent video clips to Booch & others here so we've all seen the transformation. He doesn't look like a qb who just wants to be known for his tough running ability anymore. He want to be known as a qb who can win games with his arm as well for the Bombers. This is his time to show he can play.

Ford outplayed Streveler? They've never faced each other. That's a crappy take, c'mon. I haven't seen Ford outplay anyone. He relies on his athleticism & not his brains. Wait till he blows out his knee or achilles. Unfortunately, with his style of play, it's coming. Hey, has Tre Ford got his NFL pension like Streveler? Just asking...

Some guys have it & others don't. From what I've seen, Ford doesn't. Great athleticism will only take you so far. At some point, he has to show that he belongs in the CFL as a starter. Or he'll be demoted to short yardage. Then out the door. Mark Killam is in his first year & I'd say he has a year & a half to show he is an actual CFL Head Coach as well. He doesn't need to be anchored down with a 7 game losing streak his first year just because he wants a starting Canadian qb. I can almost guarantee the clock is ticking on Ford.
