  1. Castillo has been money all season except for the chipped balls first game & he was the only kicker forced to kick with them. Yeah, Castillo had a bad game. All kickers do every once in awhile. making him your scapegoat for this loss is ridiculous. The reason for the loss? The same crew that gets rewarded for playing badly keep playing. Nothing changes. Castillo has been one of the bright spots this season.
  2. Take Calgary off your list. The owner would never allow it.
  3. I saw a bit of the Osh interview with with the media last night after the game on TSN. He sure doesn't look or sound like a coach at 2-6 under duress to start finding answers to questions. Or to win. He just seems relaxed & ready for the players "to go back to work". I'm thinking that nothing will change. Osh is comfortable. Not worried at all about things, To him & the Bombers mgmt, the ship is not sinking. It's full speed ahead.
  4. We'll be fined up to $100,000 & lose some draft picks. Not worth it. Miller has to get involved. Put the heat on Osh to get going.
  5. The OL is a killer. We won't win with that group playing the way they are. We can't upgrade it now mid season but we need to make in team personnel changes. We need better roster management. I'd expect we sign some free agent OL this winter.
  6. You respect Booch's opinion yet you want him to shut up? Here's what I think about you...
  7. What a putrid loss. I don't mind losing games but the way we gave this away was sickening. Four fumbles. One Pick 6. Our OL sucked again. It always does. The OL isn't good enough yet the same players keep playing. Nothing changes. All we see on the sidelines is "Oh, gosh darn!!" when they make a mistake. I want to see a coach, ANY COACH, ripping a few on the sidelines. I don't want to see them getting patted on the head like it's okay when they screw up. There's no passion from the coaching staff at all. There's no accountability.
  8. Nothing will change even with a blowout loss. Osh will be Osh saying he expects his guys to not lose another game this season. He'll say the team looks great with a smirk.
  9. That takes us right out of the Rourke sweepstakes. Not like we'd be in it, anyway. Or any other promising free agent qbs. That contract may set us back years once Zach is gone.
  10. Forever. That's how Dickenson rolls. I understand that if any free agent qb comes available next off season we can't compete as Zach's last year is guaranteed. Is that true? If so, that's insane.
  11. TSN should sign him.
  12. On the topic of Salt Lake City getting the 2034 Winter Olympics... Cue the new arena to hold the NHL & NBA.
  13. I'm pvr'ng it to watch after dinner. Just going to sit on my deck barbecuing while having a Jack Daniels. It's nice today. Kind of a cool. cloudy day in Calgary. After the inferno & smoke of the last 2 weeks, I just wan to enjoy some time outside. I'm not going to let a Bomber game give me indigestion or put me in a bad mood.
  14. Yeah, well how'd that work out for us? Money & always thought to be replaceable. Always the odd man out no matter what he did. Expected he'd always take the cheaper contract no matter what. Sign for less or buh bye.
  15. If I was Bailey, I'd tell Walters to take a hike. We all know the Bombers won't sign him next season. If anyone has been disrespected by Walters over the years, it's Bailey.
  16. Alright watching Dru Brown tonight. I was one of the fans here that said keeping Zach Collaros over Dru Brown was the best move by the Bombers. I never expected Zach's game would crater the way it has. And it's stayed at an unacceptably low level. It's bad enough seeing Janarion Grant have a great season returning punts & kickoffs. Now, the first young qb we signed & developed since Dieter Brock was allowed to go to Ottawa as a free agent. The personnel decisions that's been made have been mind boggling. Seeing Brown find success gives me indigestion.
  17. With those stats as the number three or 4 receiver, most teams would take that production. It has to be something else.
  18. Evans is an awful qb.
  19. It's just sad how this team has been allowed to step off a cliff.
  20. Their real strength was our defense in 2019 & 21. Teams found it hard to run, pass & especially score on us back then. We put a ton of pressure on the pass rush. Then, Walters just let that great defense age out & wither away. Stove hasn't played for us since 2021. Three years later, we still haven't found his replacement. Walters refused to go after any nose guards or D Ends in free agency. So, here we are. It used to be our offense would outscore the other guys. Now, we can't do that anymore. They saw this coming. THEY HAD TO!! God Almighty, that's the job of the HC, GM & Scouts. To see & recognize when players need to be replaced. Yet, very little was done. We keep guys like Jake Thomas & let Janarion Grant & Rasheed Bailey go to free agency. Coaches favourites still play. What the Hell happened to the decision making on this team? How has it been allowed to come down to this?
  21. Only a coach who has no fear of his job does what Osh does. There seems to be little accountability to the higher ups. I don't understand it. No one should be that comfortable especially at the pro level. Winning should be everything. Nothing else should matter. However, the way this team seems to operate, I could see O'Shea having multiple losing seasons & he would still have a job.
