  1. Harris proved he was the best back in the CFL last Sunday. **** the all star team.
  2. Pete Costanza the receivers coach for the Stamps resigned today after 12 years. Mark Stephen the pbp voice of the Stamps tweeted it was a money issue. I also think the fact he's coached the same position since 2008 now younger coaches are jumping ahead of him in the Stamps also had something to do with it. He was well liked within the Stamps organization & the players liked him as well. He was always rumoured to be the next OC or even HC somewhere but it never materialized. He knows that Stamps system cold having coached with both Hufnagel & Dickinson so if LaPo leaves he may be a coach worth looking into as an OC. If he wants to stay in the CFL someone will hire him.
  3. Best back? He's not even a great back anymore. His NFL days are done, I think. He may get a chance with another CFL team.
  4. It's pretty obvious that if MOS wants to stay here then he will. Collaros said all kinds of great things about O'Shea that he is a leader of men, etc. He knows what he has here but doesn't in Toronto so he may be willing to sign with the Bombers again. A sure thing vs the Unknown.
  5. The minute the Eastern Final was over Evans thought they won the Grey Cup. We did that in 2001 walking into Montreal's Olympic Stadium thinking the Stamps would just bow down to our supposed greatness. I think Evans & the Ti Cats felt the same way. That the Bombers would be pushovers to the Ti Cats supposed greatness. Instead, the Bombers showed up nasty, ready & willing to do whatever it took to win. If it meant bloodying a few Ti Cats noses then so be it. Evans & the rest of the Cats wanted nothing to do with it.
  6. Some of the most legendary Grey Cups were between our 2 teams.
  7. The way Collaros played should set aside the belief that it takes 8 or 9 games for a new qb to get to know the playbook. Collaros has been here for something like 45 days & he played like he had been here for years. His intelligence played a big part.
  8. At different times during the game Jim Barker & Orlando Steinhauer tried to calm him down. Evans had a great season but it seemed to come too easily & when he ran into a buzzsaw coming after him he couldn't handle it.
  9. I noticed Evans body language, attitude & demeanor got worse as the game went on. He looked to be throwing hissy fits & getting angry everytime he was sacked or hit. He didn't inspire or lead his team last night. He played lousy & was a lousy teammate.
  10. This question is for another day. I just want to enjoy winning the Cup. Who got da Cup? We got da Cup! Who got da Cup? We got da Cup!!
  11. Hits like that just took the wind out of their sales. They were absolutely done & wanted no part of us. Steinhauer knew that on the sidelines.
  12. No, it was perfect. The Bombers mean a lot to all of us in so many ways. This win has also touched all of us in so many ways & we all have a story of why it means so much to us. Your story was great. I sure 2020 is a much better year for you. Thanks for sharing. Who got da cup? We got da cup, baby!!
  13. Once or twice, they went after him low on one deep throw.
  14. Nothing matters right now. Just enjoy this!
  15. I'm so happy for fans like you. That stuck with this team while never experiencing a championship. In the days ahead, the feeling will just get better & better.
  16. Why would anyone want to argue tonight, eh???????????
  17. My condolences on the loss of your friend. Lloyd was watching & he's smiling tonight.
  18. This team checked off a lot of boxes: 1. First playoff win at McMahon Stadium in 54 years. CHECK! 2. Avenged the 1972 Western Final loss to the Riders. Forty seven years. CHECK! 3. First Grey Cup win in 29 years. CHECK! CHECK!! TRIPLE CHECK!!!
  19. Thanks. When Colaros took that knee I started bawling.
