Most people on social media will say that they pray for Trump to recover. We know that a lot of these same people saying that really hopes he gets seriously ill or dies. Personally myself, I hope he does recover so he knows that this virus isn't fake or a hoax. Maybe he'll decide to take Covid more seriously as far as trying to eradicate it in the US. Somehow, I doubt it but we can hope.

Thursday Night football for the most part are terrible games. I gave this game a pass.

Our family hasn't cancelled Xmas as it's kind of early to do that. We have no idea what things will be like in 3 months. The Xmas dinner & celebrations we have eill be pretty low key. Just my myself, wife, son & daughter in law. Being a school bus driver I'm on the firing line with the kids I drive. I have to drive 60 kids to school everyday on 2 separate runs. I have to wear a mask & face shield with my students. If I catch Covid it'll be from my job & not from my family giving it to me. I don't have the fear I used to have about the virus as I am possibly exposed to it everyday. My son's 34th birthday is Sunday & they're coming over for dinner tomorrow. They'll also be here next weekend for Thanksgiving.

Today I heard that Sweden is going to allow visitors into senior care homes unmasked starting in a few days. When I heard that on the car radio coming home from work this evening, I just gasped. These poor seniors are trapped in these care centres & heartless health officials allow that? Why not just pass around a handgun & play Russian Roulette with these poor seniors? One bullet in the chamber.

I think he knows he's going to lose so in his own mind he feels he'll just go out with a blaze of glory.

The Swedes are convinced that they have this virus licked. Pretty cocky to be sure.

And if I went into some explanation of why I'd like to see Ambrosie fired, you'd say the same thing so why bother? I've already stated my case many times as to why I think he's one of the worst Commissioners we've ever had. Why he seems so in over his head. How botched this season. How he also botched asking for financial aid from the Trudeau Government. How he has ghosted & continues to ghost fans by helping the CFL become absolutely invisible after they shut down. How there are no plans being made public on what they are going to do as a league in 2021. How he should spend more time growing the game here in Canada than in places like Poland, Mexico & Japan. My advice is if you don't like what I have to say then block me. Please. I wouldn't mind at all. Matter of fact, I'd welcome it. The only insufferable one in this conversation here is you.

Mark Cohon was an extremely popular Commissioner with the fans & media. Was there ever a picture taken of him when he wasn't amiling from ear to ear & was always so positive & upbeat? He talked to as many fans as he could around the league but he just seemed more polished with the media than Ambrosie. I think things improved under Cohon with attendance up for a bit before falling off the past 3 years under Ambrosie. I think the guy is done like a cold dinner. He'll be the one taking the fall for the lost season this year. I don't think the CFL can come back with him as Commissioner. They'll need a fresh face for a new start.

What big jobs exactly? The League is on hold. People are being laid off & not being hired. No one is signing any free agents while the CFL is in limbo with no plan presented going forward. Players who haven't opted out of their contracts will come back next season (if the teams play) but aren't being paid now. I guess in today's CFL, counting paper clips is a big job.

I knew if I kept on answering it was going to deteriorate into a personal insult (of me) session so I decided to end my participation. Thing is, I'm not even a Trump supporter. I hope he loses in November but that still isn't enough to prevent from being jumped on here by some. Some posters were rational with me here like JCon, Mr Dee & Wanna-B-Fan Boy & I thank you guys for that. We don't have to always agree so I appreciate being treated with respect. Others are just looking to fight any opinion they don't like. So, it's not worth it to keep on posting on this thread when that happens.

Sorry, I don't agree. With everything in limbo, I don't think GMs have a lot to do right now anyway. Just like equipment managers. To me, just me... Othere may not agree like you & that's okay... But to me, it looks like a greedy cash grab at the wrong time.
