When I got my license when I was 16 back in 1971, my Dad let me drive our car all the way to Regina from Winnipeg. We were visiting my aunt & uncle. The Trans Canada was twinned from Winnipeg to just past the overpass diverting past Portage La Prairie. It was 2 lanes all the way to Regina. It was also single lane from Regina to Calgary. Now it's 4 lanes all the way from Winnipeg to Calgary. What a difference.

Or how long a gas up & pee break takes or getting out of the car for a food break. I always filled up in Swift Current, Regina & Brandon. I always broke the trip up into 3 just to make it not seem as long. If I was walking in space, I'd **** my pants too. That new Mosaic Stadium sure stands out from the highway as you leave driving west or coming in going east.

I think that was linebacker Darren Sankey. If Collaros had stayed in, we'd have won by 30 points. I just want to see both the Riders & Stamps kick the crap out of each other but see the Riders lose.

The rule of not allowing three qbs to dress is one of the dumbest rules the CFL has. Bring it back & dress 3. That way teams can have a veteran backup qb & a young developmental qb dressed. The absolute stupidity to save a few bucks affecting the quality of play is ridiculous.

For me, it's always been 7 1/2 to 8 hrs to Regina from Calgary. Another 5 1/2 to 6 hours to Winnipeg from Regina. About 14 hours total. I've always set my cruise at 8 kph over the speed limit when I do the drive. Been doing that for 31 years & never been pulled over for speeding. I used to make that drive alone no problem up to when I was into my late 50's. Now I can't do it by myself anymore as I tire much easier. I worry about falling asleep at the wheel & hitting the ditch. Getting old sucks.

They would give him a set number of plays in a package off of short yardage. He could go in & execute those plays. He doesn't need to know the entire playbook.

That's the biggest problem with the CFL & why teams are struggling. The lack of quality quarterbacks. With only 9 teams, you'd think every team would have a reliable starter but that's not the case. I just worry Brandon Alexander won't play in 2 weeks.

Just about every player from every team will be free agents this off season. We should be able to sign a decent back up to Collaros.

That philosophy won't feel very good if Collaros gets hurt. The entire season will be wasted.

Well, we found out about our backup qbs & the analysis isn't good. I can cut some slack to Dru Brown as he's a true rookie but Sean McGuire played very badly last week. For a guy who has been here 2 seasons, I expected a lot more. Red flags should be raised here. I hope both McGuire & Brown don't see the field other than short yardage from this point on & we actually sign a veteran qb in the off season who gives us a chance to win when he plays. Run game died because our passing game died with Brown playing. Andrew Harris wouldn't have made a difference.

Augustine rushed for over 140 yards so harris wouldn't make a difference. Our backup qbs look lost.

Well, that's a piss off. If Zach goes down we are absolutely hooped.
