That salary cap on coaches & management may be a problem. LaPo probably still has 2 years left on his contract after this season. I have no idea about Desjardins.

His play calling isn't very good. Always has been that way. CFL is a vertical game. You have to challenge the defense by stretching it out. You can't expect an offense to score having to go on 10-12 play drives constantly. CFL wide outs went to Winnipeg to die under LaPo. Now it's Ottawa.

LaPo may get another half season if Desjardins sticks around next year. If Desjardins is turfed, the new GM may want his own man. But... with the CFL bleeding money can they afford to fire HC's & GM's under contract?? Talent for one. Two, LaPo being LaPo.

They had a pretty good OL but they're beat up now. Foucault is starting & he may be the worst starting guard in the CFL. They moved their other starting guard to Center after he got hurt & a rookie is now playing in his spot. The interior of that line can be exploited if any of those guys are out for awhile. I loved Stanbeck getting under the skin of #5 Williams the Argos linebacker. Seems DB's & LB's can prance, dance & be yappy when they make a play but don't let the other offense score, get a TD & do the same thing back. No, no, no. That's not allowed. Lol. Good for Stanbeck to throw it all back at them & their asshat DC.

Duke Williams scares the bejeebers out of me. If he has any chemistry with Fajardo he'll be scary good on those long balls. The key will be to hurry Fajardo when he throws to upset the timing of these long routes.

I think that Flutie is talking about longevity as Mitchell has had 8+ seasons as a starter & is 2-2 in the Grey Cup. Pretty selfish if these guys screw the season for their teammates & fans. I'd cut or trade them in the off season if that happens. Good riddance. They should be named since they're ******* over everyone else. Of course, we'll find out anyway. BTW, Stamps receiver Josh Huff is a healthy scratch for tomorrow's game. When asked why, Dickenson bristled with a reply saying it was a coaches decison & to leave it at that. Maybe he's one of the players & they want to work someone else into that position. Dickenson sure sounded unhappy.
