That's not the thought process of these guys. calvillo will either either want to be in charge & therefore have to go to an inferior team looking to change fortunes or stay with the Als & be comfortable. Never be in charge. Never make HC's money. Never knowing if he could be a championship head coach. The egos of these coaches is generally pretty big.

There's more talent here than a lot of teams. With a coach that knows what he's doing, it could still be great. The talent's been squandered by Osh. Do you think he'd be thrilled to go to Ottawa? With this organization, I wouldn't put it past them.

The Bombers have gone from the premiere organization in the CFL to a dysfunctional one. friends hiring friends. Whether it's wade Miller giving new deals to walters & Osh when it wasn't deserving or Osh giving former players like Mike Miller & jake Thomas coaching jobs with no experience to being extremely slow to adapt & change. The drop in the past two seasons & counting has been dramatic to say the least. The only way to stop this is to fire O'Shea & his Coordinators as I mentioned previously. The way this team reacts to adversity at the management level, it'll never happen. Everybody will keep their jobs no matter how bad the team does. I have no hope of this changing. That's on Walters. Totally on him. The Canadian draft is supposed to be his strength.

If the Bombers don't want 18-20000 showing up next year have to do something, I believe. They just can't keep ignoring the obvious. That this regime has seen its best days. Head Coach & coordinators need to be gone first. Walters gets an extra year or two to see if it can be turned around. And no coach, absolutely no coach from this staff should be promoted to head coach. A clean break has to be done. If they prmoted Younger to HC with his many years under O'Shea then that will be mistake #2. (With keeping O'Shea around as mistake #1). Nothing will change if thius happens. No one on this coaching staff deserves a promotion.

THAT is coaching. Anyone who says that it's the players fault this happened is clueless. This is a coaching issue. Younger may not be the whiz we thought he was. Condell is just a freaking disaster as an OC. Then we have Mike O'Shea who keeps doing this when he's asked how it'll all get fixed.

Collaros looked like he belonged on the field in the first half. he didn't in the second. So what happened? The Elks adjusted & we didn't. I put what happened in the second half on Tommy Condell. Not so much on Zach. At least we know our OL can still totally dominate. for one half. Coaching is a joke.

That's why Ottawa never fired Burke (who was still under contract this year) when he was "promoted" to work with Dinwiddie. Kept Bob Dyce until his contract expired at the end of last season & hired Dinwiddie to do multiple jobs from QB Coach, OC, HC, GM & scouting. Cheaper to hire one guy than 2 & Ottawa is forced to wait until Dimwit's contract is up in 2028. We saw the same thing in Edmonton with Chris Jones. We'll be living it here with osh & walters with their new deals. We have millions in the bank. I think we should bite the bullet & buy out Osh's contract at the end of the season if teams are allowed to do that. Playing Vaval full time will affect his ability to return punts & kicks as we have no one else.

I disagree. Not having to worry about getting paid for 3 years is a real problem as complacency & apathy will set in.

Yeah, i felt the same. His response was strange as well. Saying that he approaches every off season the same as it didn't matter if it was a Grey Cup year or not. Maybe not to Walters but it mattered to every Bomber fan in Winnipeg & myself in Calgary. Walters & osh are totally tone deaf & I'm beginning to think Wade Miller is as well.

You do it all the time to others. Look, things are a bit heated tonight. People are upset. Someone should grab Walters & have an ad lib interview about the state of the team. But that kinda stuff only happened when Jack Matheson, John Robertson & Don Blanchard were covering the Bombers for the print media & weren't afraid to shake the tree to see what falls out.

Ottawa is in the same situation with Dinwiddie. He signed a 3 year deal as well. Dinwiddie is going nowhere, either & he's 0-10.
