  1. Bishop had a tremendous throwing arm, the receivers would complain about how catching the ball would hurt their hands. Not the smartest QB, but he was fun to watch!
  2. Somehow I don't remember this day? But I'm sure I had fun!
  3. As one of the new guys on the block, I have to say that this was a great read! Thanks for bringing this up, again. Excuse me , I gotta get under the bridge.
  4. I stand corrected... ...Again... If anyone comes looking for me, I'll be under the bridge...
  5. CFL.ca Staff <<<<SOURCE I mentioned this in another thread. If they are talking about that short forward pass to Gable at the LOS, and then Bass comes along and just pastes him. I thought that was a great defensive play. Are the defensive players not supposed to play the ball?
  6. The CFL announced Tuesday that Bombers linebacker Khalil Bass was fined for ‘an unnecessary hit to a vulnerable player (C.J. Gable) in last week’s win over Hamilton. www.bluebombers.com/2016/07/12/home-town-crowd/ I have a real hard time with this! Are the players not supposed to to play the ball! That was a phenomenal play, I loved it. (... ?)
  7. I know that everyone is ragging on the officials over that 3rd qter offside call, but when I looked at it again you can see why it was called this way. Winnipeg was lined up offside right from the start. The Refs have to wait for the ball to be called into play, but at that point the Hamilton receivers ran offside. The officials had to call the original infraction.
  8. I just thought that I say that, as bad as they played, the Roughies played better than I expected. Durant had some good things going, especially in the 2nd and 3rd Qtr. Roosevelt is quite the receiver. Some good lessons in lip reading when you were watching Jones. Halfway through the Lions/T-cats game, and BC is winning! Didn't Mike call this?
  9. We just don't understand the genius of coach Jones. Next to the Bomber @ Stampeder game, I am not going to miss Argos @ Riders tomorrow night, this should be good!
  10. I was very surprised when TO decided to hitch their wagon to Ricky Ray. Harris is ready to be a starter in this league and they invested so much in him. This will be Jim Barker's nightmare down the road. Toronto and Montreal are kind of tough calls, either one of them have their strengths and weaknesses. It will probably go down to injuries and who can best manage them.
  11. I think it's time to panic, what's Michael Bishop doing these days...
  12. Bucknor will do well for you guys, I wish him all the best. and he gets to play at home. I hope this works for everyone.
  13. So, getting back to Muamba, Justin Dunk at 3DN has a nice article about where Henoc may land should he decide to to look at a CFL return. http://3downnation.com/2016/06/10/whats-canadian-lb-henoc-muamba/ Dunk figures that the most likely spots would be Edmonton, so he would be with his brother, Cauchy. Or Sask., they need all the national depth that they can get. I would agree with this.
  14. That's what I love about this place! Not only is it entertaining, it's educational too!
  15. I believe Cato has the talent, but I get the feeling he has some personal issues to deal with. No thanks. I thought Davis played rather well in the last season game of '15. Didn't Nichols sign a 1 year deal? I kind of think that if the season goes fairly well, we will be seeing the # 3 and #4 QBs take the stage to finish off some games. It is time to start grooming our next #1.
  16. I have wondered what happens if a drafted player and the team just can't come to an agreement? Does the player have to sit out for year, can the team trade his rights? I don't think that I have ever heard of any national draft player not signing with his team.
  17. So, according to Blink's Linkdin account, he left Winnipeg around last October. It seems he moved back to California and is now working as an intake clerk at the Sacramento Hospital. He just keeps moving back and forth to keep us confused, after all this is the elusive Charles Roberts.
  18. Blink? Charles Roberts? Am I missing something? He lives in Sacramento, and works for the US Postal Service. But I am not aware of any problems with him getting here.
  19. This is an interesting idea, and there is a good chance Timmis will be available at 9/10.
