  1. As far as I can tell, T.J. Thorpe has dropped off the face of the earth... where are all those people saying we should've kept him when he asked to be released?...
  2. Just thought I'd mention it for others on here too...TSN now offers per-day rates ($4.99 + tax), for access to their channels, so you could use that, provided you have an internet connection.
  3. Let SSK just have him now. He's dead to me.
  4. At this point they'll have to put paper bags on top of the cardboard cutouts that were already there.
  5. Actually, Hamilton has the only two winless seasons in CFL history (1949; 0-12-0, 1946;0-10-2). They also have the worst record in the 18-game era (2003; 1-17-0)
  6. He was also very selfish, never wanted to pass protect...
  7. Hey that's not entirely true, they have a pretty good statistical category section that isn't subject to their poor analysis. Nic Grigsby says hi.
  8. Why even bother showing up?
  9. While I agree with your assessment, it is the CFL and anything could happen... just hoping for a good game and not another blowout against the Argos.
  10. Join the rest of the nation and celebrate one of our country's greatest pastimes - watching the 'Riders lose! Celebrations start 7:00PM ET as we mark the 2nd anniversary of the first ever loss at Mosaic Stadium, hopefully they can continue their trend of ineptitude with a spectacular 0-3 start to the year!
  11. What's more embarrassing? a) Choking away an 11-point lead b) Having the comeback led by backup QB Arbuckle, who had 1 TD pass before this happened.
  12. I know we're all gushing over Lucky's big game but thought it was worth mentioning he was also the player that made the tackles on the Chris Matthews interception and the 1st of two fumbles by Harris. The guy just doesn't give up on the play...
  13. Play-on words here is spectacular.
  14. I think people are forgetting that EDM came into town hot, and we had the awkward scheduling blip of a W2 bye... alot of the mistakes last night were related to execution .. which should be patched up once we get a few more games under our belt.
  15. Yesterday the offense turned the ball over 3 times, twice because of Harris. Our STs completely outplayed EDM, and because of being able to flip the field, instead of turning the ball over, Matt Nichols yet again, gave them a chance to win. Nothing shows how much this is a witch hunt than the fact that Harris turned it over twice, and yet Nichols is still somehow getting more heat.
  16. Well, in terms of a game of similar fashion... how about the Stamps almost-collapse against us back on September 24, 2016? Parades hit a 52-yarder with under a minute left after the Bombers stormed back in the second half, they were up 30-14 heading to the 4th and almost choked.
  17. HH to Tburgess for convincing Edmonton brass that all Trevor Harris has to do is have a 300+ yard game and they'll win.
  18. This really doesn't make sense to me... anyone that's going to buy food at the game is ... at the game, not watching it on the tube. The only way this makes sense to me would be if they were somehow earning extra revenue off it (ad revenue?), but even that's a stretch, that or food revenue is down drastically league-wide. Unfortunately, I think like many other cable companies, TSN underestimated the drop-off as cord-cutters begin to age up and become the dominating market.
  19. Every 'Riders loss is game of the week in my books...
  20. Sure - but Esks did so in their own back yard, we won on the road.
  21. Did some digging... the closest thing I could find was when George Allen as head coach of the Los Angeles Rams was fired after just 2 preseason games in 1978, so I think that's worse than after the first regular season game?
  22. Well, seeing as how their fiscal year-end is March 2018, it'd likely be payments made by 2018 season tickets holders for services not provided yet. Winnipeg's would be lower because less people paid for the upcoming 2019 season that early (Winnipeg's fiscal year-end is December 2018 instead).
  23. Is there a way for the 'Riders to somehow get an additional loss out of this? That would ideally be the best outcome in my opinion...
  24. Actually... the Bombers have more cash on-hand than the 'Riders do, just sayin'. Riders financials (see page 22): https://d3ham790trbkqy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2015/11/SaskRoughriders_AnnualReport1718_web.pdf Bombers financials (see page 24): https://d3ham790trbkqy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2019/04/2018-Winnipeg-Blue-Bombers-Annual-Report.pdf
