We didn’t get brady the ball enough this year, but we should look to get both peterson and brady on the field more next year. Peterson has legit game speed. Run one of the two in the slot.

i’m a little surprised they don’t use it to get more snaps for alexander vs back ups. he’s missed a lot of time this year on the bright side, no suitor. on the down side, the worst pairing with out suitor. These two are about as smooth on the call as 40 grit sand paper

10 passes or completions? cus it could take more than 4 quarters for completions lol. Other wise agree. I’d like to see lots of wilson and chase.

Sounds suspicious to me. But I do think very highly of RD, and Ottawa really needs a shake-up. I could see Toronto getting bone-headed with him after this season, too. I could see Toronto having a strong interest in mos, especially. I don't feel like a great turnkey option is readily available for either job. Unless Danny wants to move up here to the GM role.

Yeah, I hope so. Otherwise, I would think Adams would come back in since he has played end and can play inside. Montreal's roster will likely depend on what happens in Hamilton, as they can still capture the Eastern final. I expect at least they will play their starters for a good half of the game on offence. I doubt they will have time to prep for a pre season style game and prep for a game to win, so I expect them to prep to play to win. Then take their foot off after a half if the game ends up being none relevant. Doesn't look like we've used the designated national/american still.

Did you watch the last dance? Guy was very clearly a major **** hole to his teammates. Tbh, when you hear accounts of people dealing with him, it comes up a lot. From racing, to gambling and golf.

I would be shocked if that Dl, despite being very green, didn't out perform most of what we've seen from the unit this year. Many of the changes are as expected, interesting that they are flipping echols and wheatfall though. I get that by keeping Makonzo on the 6 game, we don't have any of his salary cap all year, but dam,n why keep him around if you don't use him even in a game like this? Dudes been full practices since just before LD. \

You need a certain amount of Aholes, though. Jordan was the biggest Ahole in the nba, and critical to his teams success both on and off the court. Similarly, Kongbo was a key piece of the locker room and on the field in our success, and beloved by the denver broncos coaching staff/locker room. But BC deemed him too much of an Ahole. You need that Ahole who will stand up and call guys out if needed. (and over the course of a year it's always needed a few times at least) We don't have that now, And the vets are longer in the tooth than at the end of Dave ritchies tenure.

Blue Bombers - 2025 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Personally, I think last year was a big red flag. We recovered, but we did so by a huge streak of fluky wins. From that, to this year is a large sample size of un addressed issues. (not even getting into the GC loses to backup QBs) I think if he/they get next year, and I am sure they will, it should only be between half a year and up to the LDC worth of rope. Another start like we've seen both years, and you have to clean house to save face with the fan base. And I HATE mid season coach/gm firings. To extend contracts on both, and not being able to trust them with a season, is an awful position to put yourself in. If/when we do that, we need to insulate the staff/front office. We've got brock who can step in, though sub optimal for sure. I'd want a commitment from Danny that he'd take the interim job and come up here for the rest of the year. Then I think we'd also need an OC who can be a HC candidate to take over. We've seen Jackson do it with success, but at that point I think you need a decent back up OC he can work with in a positional role. But the fact we didn't give him he job and gave it to hogan, and no one else scooped him up is worrying.

That's not what I want to happen, but I 100% believe you are correct. Mcmanus has interviewed for GM jobs now, so I think he might be willing to move up here for the job. That is just speculation on my part though. Idk why he would interview for gm jobs if he wasn't willing to move though lol. My concern with Hall isn't even age, the primary one is health. He's only 64, but he has had some real struggles. And while I love the guy, and leader, I don't think he's cut out for that role.

I could see shutting down the old guys, but why would you take the young guys in need of reps off lmao

Blue Bombers - 2025 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
no they wouldn’t lol. Bc, ssk, Montreal,Hamilton, and Calgary wouldn’t let him in the door. Toronto wouldn’t either if they had half clue. But I see a slight chance they can dinwiddie for their record. Was thinking the same thing. I really like jy. I’d like to see how is D operates with out the silly handicapping of the roster. He isn’t even close to ready for that yet though. If I was gonna hire from inside, and I wouldn’t, the only guy on the coaching staff i’d consider is Hall.

sucks for demski. I’d say brady was a bit better and neither wins any way. Surprised at holm, but the D was pretty meh. I thought jones would get it but wouldn’t have given it to him. I bet vaval wins teams and not rookie
