Ladd,Little,Wheeler, Toby,Myers are on the ice. The puck is in our zone.. Wheeler goes to change let's say and while that is happening, the other team gets a scoring chance and eventually puts it in the net but wheeler gets to the bench b4 the puck goes in and Perreault comes on to the ice, well that minus wouldn't go to Wheeler, he was on the bench, it would go to perreault, even tho he just stepped on to the ice and was nowhere near the play. 
 
Plus Minus is pretty misleading... Lemieux has some skills, he's probably a bottom 6 guy for sure, ideally on the 4th line... Probably take him over Thorburn and Peluso every day cuz at least the guy has some offensive ability. 

That is a pretty general statement to make.  Last time I checked Evander Kane was Canadian.  Poison players are human nature and come in all nationalities.
 
Lots of Russians that are not poison.  For a while there has been a flight risk to the KHL, which I think was a bigger reason teams shied away from them, but with the messed up economy in Russia, the risk is less.
 
Specific to Burmi, yes there has been rumours that he isn't great in the locker room.  I think the Jets room is pretty strong though and can handle him.
 
Even given character issues, there is no way I'd take O'Dell over Burmi.  There are much better NHL players we have in our system over O'Dell.

Carolina would have to give us the 5th overall just to take Semin & Ward for nothing in return, never mind three players with actual value. Their cap numbers are ugly, they're both over 30, and neither one is very good anymore.

Burmi is probably a throw in, i could see for example pick 25 and Burmi to Buffalo for pick 21. I don't Burmi's value is that high at all.

I am actually starting to agree with TUP when he goes on about how the team may regress a bit this coming season, I could actually see us going really young and having some massive growing pains along the way but... being pretty good next year and so on.

Lots of holes to fill and honestly, if we lose both Frolik and Stafford, man oh man... trouble for sure. And I think it's likely that we lose both.. I'd say it's almost guaranteed that Frolik is gone and i'd say it's 50/50 on stafford. Yeah that article but Elliot Friedman also had an article about stafford and the jets and said at this point, i wouldn't be optimistic that a deal gets done.
 
Jets might  regress next season for sure. Tough division. People can talk about Chicago but it's not the sharps oduyas and bickells that are winning them cups, it's the toews,kanes,keiths,seabrooks really... That's their core and our's can't compete with that just yet. 

Not sure how O'Dell got in there...supposed to be Copp.
 
D men are not in any order and if Buff isn't traded, one of the RHD will switch to the L side.

Great size and passable skating. He also has decent hands for a 4th liner enforcer. Probably a top 3 fighter in the league. Takes way too many bad penalties though and doesn't seem to have much for hockey sense. Overall, I'm happy with this signing. He'll probably be in the press box for most of the season anyways.

Finding another Perrault would be nice.
