Looking at current lineup armia, dano, lipon, lowry, peluso, perreault & thorburn are the only ones who did not play in the nhl their first year as a pro.

True but they keep getting hired back so the odds are in his favour. Of the 4 new coaches so far this year 3 are re-treads - Carlyle, Boudreau & Boucher. In 2015 there were 8 hirings with 6 being retreads.

I dont expect to make the playoffs this year. Not this young of a team. Not with LHD &, goaltending short-comings. Postma/Morrissey? Aiiiee. Postma's got the O but lacking in D and at 26 he's only ahead of Cormier in terms of chances.
