  1. Past hour
  2. Safety left the middle? OK milt let's score a touchdown.
  3. Mos uncomfortable because people are calling out his MO and he can't just fall back on the wins and losses to justify it. Safe to save he's feeling the heat.
  4. MOS didn’t sound too pleased with Milt on the coaches show yesterday. “I think he started off by saying that because of who it is, saying it, Milt Stegall, a lot of people listen. And I think because of that powerful voice, he should probably choose his words a lot more carefully than he did. You know, he's not qualified to make those decisions or he certainly doesn't know what's going on. And I'm not qualified either, right? But I have a little more insight into the situation, obviously. But you know, there's, when you make those pretty brash statements, you're, you know, and you make them quickly in the spur of the moment, you're not considering his family or his people that care about him when you make those statements, right? And I think a little more care and concern should have went in before, you know, announcing to the world and creating clickbait and getting your likes up.”
  5. Whichever he chooses. He played 6 seasons in each city and statistically, his best seasons were in BC. But if you look at what his accolades, Winnipeg has the edge so there's a good argument for both. He had more all-star seasons with BC but more team success & league awards here. BC: 1 Grey Cup, 1 MODP, 4x All CFL team Wpg: 2 Grey Cups, 2 MODP's, 2x All CFL team.
  6. Or done any thing of impact at all. If we had just gone into the market and replaced 1 of the top tier FAs we lost each of the last 3 years, our roster is miles better.
  7. Yeah. He had a couple of stretches where he was the leagues MODP imo. But they never lasted, and always took time to get to. He's had 1 great and 1 good game this year. Arguably 2 great, but not a 3rd good game even. He's basically late stages lamar mcgriggs now. Great guy, tough as nails, smart, can still flash great games, but can't consistently play at that level any more and is limited in use. We'd be soo much better off running NI Lber, or even going NI at both and all imp on the DL with lawson to rotate. If we could have Jjones and the imp DL plus lawson our D would improve drastically at every thing.
  8. yeah, Idk if he is lucky or a tank but he's held up behind some bad OLs.
  9. He don’t get hurt. Now would be a good time to sign Elgersma and roster him with the intention on giving him reps sooner rather than later. I guess that’s up to him tho and probably not us right now but things sure seem quiet with him.
  10. Alright. Shay. J Jones. Griffin/smith.
  11. If only we had prime milt right now.
  12. Seems like the majority are on the same page. Are the coaches. ???
  13. Eli been around longer than kolo. Sink or swim time.
  14. Today
  15. I mentioned it earlier in the week, but that's how Khari and Milt made a living back in the day. They both just knew where to go and when to go there.
  16. I agree. Hot routes or not, there was a lot of blitzing from the Riders which left a lot of open space available in the middle. Nary a Bomber receiver in sight though. Is that on the receivers, Collaros' audibles (Does he even call them?) or an OC, who can't seem to "adjust at half-time"?
  17. That's a huge blow for the Stamps. Will he go into the HOF as a Bomber or Lion?
  18. This is pro football. If they don't show anything then they should be gone. You give them a few games, yes but that's it. Sink or swim. Find the next guy. Walters needs to walk the plank. I'm willing to give Osh another year but this season is Walters doing.
  19. Agreed they should have gone all out this year because the cup is here rather focus on past success to fill the seats. It was an arrogant move by management
  20. The biggest issue to me are both lines. Offensively, It's time for Stan to call it a career. Unless his play is as good or better than someone 10 years younger than he is he needs to retire. There's no way a Tackle approaching 40 can play as well as he did when he was 30. Kolo is a liability at Center. The next guy who can go. He can still be on the roster but as a depth player but not as a starter. He should be chained to the bench with a lock & key & someone drops his helmet in the Red River. Certainly, we know that there are veteran Centers out there available in free agency & we have to sign one of them. I think Neuf can still play but I'm on the fence with him. As has been said, he's one helluva tough player & we need that kind of nastiness out of our guys on the OL. Defensively, we have wasted Willie Jefferson over the past 3 years with the shitty Canadians that play beside him like Thomas. We've neutered what greatness he may have had early in his career with the Bombers when Nevis, Stove & Kongbo caused interior chaos on opposing OL's. Now, it may not be worth it anymore to keep him because of his age & salary after this season. What a bloody waste. The Bombers are the only team I know who deliberately weakened themselves defensively by never replacing someone like Stove, Nevis & Kongbo. Vaughters the same as he gets no help either. It's hard to criticize Vaughters & Jefferson when they have such dreadful Tackles beside them whether it's a 3 or 4 man front. Improve the DL & watch the linebackers & secondary flourish once more. And we'll shave at least 100 points off of our points against.
  21. I dunno. Some teams run an offense where there isn't a lot of hot routes & sight adjustments. I do know the receivers & qbs have to be on the same page when it comes to recognizing coverages & what routes will be run so the ball can be placed where it's supposed to be. It could also be communication or the type of offense Hogan runs.
  22. I forgot Yoshi too.
  23. Bryant was still in his prime years. Neuf was a tough SOB when healthy
  24. I came across CFLvideo1964 that posts CFL, NFL, WHA, NHL and other league games on YouTube. Lots of Bomber games and the videos are of pretty good quality given their age. This person must have a had a huge video tape collection- I wonder if it's Joe Pascucci. Here's a full game of Montreal at Winnipeg from 1980 (including commercials).
  25. They'd lost a bunch of pieces on O, as well... It's remarkable how they've mostly kept on rolling.
  26. Kolo is on the ground for so much of the game it looks like he’s playing Nightcrawlers instead of football. I’d like to see how the guards do with a half decent C. Eli, Vibert, some American, whoever. That’s the swap that needs to be made before anything else. At least get someone there who isn’t physically dominated constantly, I can deal with the odd communication mishap or rookie mistake.
