  1. Past hour
  2. Of course...but that's bad money spent...I'm sure you could use that money for 4 better players...or one real difference maker and a legit rookie
  3. Definitely concerned about Hogan, with the asterisk that I don't know enough to know enough. But it sure SEEMS like play calling might be an issue. Calgary made adjustments at the half and we did not. Game over.
  4. Only if you can pay some roster spots $0. Math doesn't math if you're paying replacements.
  5. Edit: was there a single penalty called against Calgary in the second half? Serious question.
  6. 1. Hogan is no Hero....crappy playcalls, crappy design......and crappy execution. Stamps made adjustments.....we did squat. In that 2nd half, O played not to lose....and we of course, lost 2. Pass pro on key downs....or should we say no pass pro. Getting a bit over the hill, here... 3. Lack of playmakers on O.....receiving corps is subpar, terrible situational play, in route running and blocking. Brady can't do it all by himself.... DHM: Coaching. No 2nd adjustments. Can't give away points in a tight game.... Secondary. Worked by the long ball...
  7. Jake Thomas should not be playing as much as he does. He brings zero to the dline
  8. Thomas ain't making big bucks but not chump change...probably 130k at least...dumping him...kolo...Kramdi..prob woukd have pocketed us 400k or more to utilize elsewhere
  9. Castillo hits a career-long 63 yarder just to watch the D give up 30 yards in 20 seconds. Swiss cheese when the game was on the line. So predictable. Hogan - dogshit Kelly - what a debut for all the wrong reasons Receivers - high school level HH: refs. that 45 yard swing phantom call on Jones was bruuuuutal. Osh does a lot of things wrong, but he was right on that one. Even Suitor, the world's biggest Riders homer even admitted that maybe the calls were against the Bombers. That's how you know the scales were tipped. That was some typical CFL incompetence on full display.
  10. Honestly his takes on the games are way more accurate than Bauming's. Bauming sounds like what people complain Ed Tait is....all while say "just being objective."
  11. Nobody they could sign in the offseason would be as talented as Lawler. All they did was save money. I resemble that remark.
  12. Sure but this other guy sounds like you combined me and Noeller and then fed the result thirty IPAs
  13. Bring in more dline help to replace Jake Thomas
  14. You can't let a guy like Lawler walk and not replace him.
  15. Bauming is way too much of a "other teams can make plays too" style analyst. Uses that as an excuse for horrifically poor Bomber play.
  16. So what's the mid season solution? I can't imagine them firing Hogan and replacing him with Jarious Jackson. They have no trade bait to make a big deal. Apparently my idea of giving Strev the keys for 5 games to see if he's worth keeping around isn't a good idea. What do they do?
  17. My god I’m trying to listen to Bonfire postgame for the first time and this is rough. I don’t always agree with Darrin but he’s trying to hold it together and debating with this Schnitzer guy is a challenge.
  18. I just don't like it care for Jake Thomas
  19. Money not an issue there. If they sign a rookie they maybe save $20,000 in that spot. Stupid to let Lawler walk. If we want to complain about money...look at Mitchell. His money plus a rookie salary = Lawler. We have 2 starting receivers on rookie salaries anyways. No financial barrier to keeping Lawler.
  20. Yeah...I agree with this
  21. It's almost like hiring from within when we needed fresh ideas was a bad call.
  22. Started ok, think we had 30 yards passing in the second half.
  23. This season was over before even started the moment we signed Jake Thomas in January well before free agency. He sucks Brings absolutely nothing to the team The money they used on him could have gone to an impact player we let walk away
  24. We’ve seen change at wr, we’ve seen change at ol and qb. If we change hogan we would instantly know where the roster actually stood. Dump kola, and bring in one more wr and I bet you see a lot of improvement.
  25. So I assume mocking Fajardo as a starting QB after Zach loses his 3rd straight to Calgary is a bad idea?
