  1. Past hour
  2. Of the remaining games this is probably the most winnable even with Streveler at qb but the D has to keep Ottawa's O in check and hope that Streveler does just enough
  3. From what I remember, teams that get to 30 first when 80% of the games. I swear Lapo talked about this when he was on the TSN crew.
  4. That’s just it. I’m sure we can bring in a few top end Americans in FA if we choose to, but QB, OL and Canadians are really big question marks. You can maybe fix one of those in an offseason but to have to deal with all 3 at once is damn near impossible.
  5. If they lose 2 wr today, might as well just pack up and go home.
  6. today’s must win scale, 8/10. We are one game up on edmonton and toronto for the last play off spot and 2 games up on ott. Toronto lost, and edm has its hands full with edm. need to gain ground on the out side gang and bury ottawa
  7. I was late to pick and went with Dru at Qb. I've used Rourke the last 3 weeks....and of course I miss this one. He is 100% the mop right now. Hes putting that team on his back.
  8. I would, but we’d never sadly. That at rb are the only positions we are capable of pushing a ni up the ar if needed with out causing serious issues. we are paper thin behind starters rn. If kramdi, a wr, ol, or dl goes down in game we are in serious trouble.
  9. He talked about a few things. He did admit to playing Brink too early instead of going with Jyles. He was talking about Wilson vs Streveler. Thought that was interesting. And like my above post mentioned talked about how he wanted to use strev as OC.
  10. Got a TL:DR for those not watching the pregame?
  11. we have pieces to solve some problems. we do not have the answer at qb, ol, 40 des, or canadian depth. and it isn’t going to come in short order. It’s not pessimism, it’s the reality. top end canadian talent, ol, and qbing are the hardest things to find and slowest to build. We aren’t likely to fix that stuff in free agency this year either. we need a massive developmental surge, but young guys are hard stuck behind old under performers.
  12. Didn't like his comment about Strev and how he used him ei...making him throw as little as possible. While also stating that its a throwing league. Wonder how different Strev would be if they used him, to quote lapo, "as a thrower who could run, not a runner who can throw".
  13. Lapo out here spitting truth on the OB pre game that fans desperately need to hear. Really fantastic stuff.
  14. Outside of losing out and the last game being meaningless, this is the team they'll run with for the rest of the year. Im expecting zero changes Outside of what injury dictates
  15. Pessimists. There's nothing wrong with this team that can't be addressed in short order... the question is whether they'll do what is necessary.
  16. 100% it is. 3rd quarter specifically has been horrible all year. Things that dreams are made of!!
  17. Unless they majorly retool in FA (and even that might not be enough) 2026 will be a 2-4 win season. I don’t see any way out of a full rebuild at this point tbh. Major 2004 vibes.
  18. they're probably not quite aware that it has reopened, and yeah I do admit parking in that area does kind of stink maybe if they expanded it to behind the building like Olive Garden and Red Lobster across from Polo The day I do make my way down there I will probably take it home from there
  19. But the thing is BC sucks so what do you do with that?
  20. Was already starting to break in 2022...all they needed was a lil flex seal...and then 2023..2024...still ignored it...and welcome to 2025....and if after this yr nothing is changed...2026 gonna be a sad joke
  21. I think what they’re finding out is why break something that isn’t broken approach maybe wasn’t as secure as they thought. And might I add the argument there was nothing better out there than we have argument is leaking holes at this point.
  22. I'm with @SpeedFlex27, they seem happy that the stadium is sold out and they're making $ with a windfall from hosting the Cup to come. As a 25 year season ticket holder, it feels like a slap in the face that they decided (it appears) not to make an effort or go all in. I mean, Sask went all in for 2013 and so did BC last year. Only worked out for one team but you have to appreciate the effort.
  23. And a playoff flop...or not even getting in with this being a home Grey Cup appearance possibility...can likely kiss the full stadium part as well for 2026 as collateral damage We will have nice crowds still...Likely top in league...but won't be any run of consecutive sell outs tho
  24. Just drove past that area and it was pretty dead (for a Saturday lunch hour). I'm sure the weather played a part, but traffic was a breeze.
  25. Today
  26. Yeah from the top this year feels like the organization really dropped the ball and are content with just getting the stadium filled. I think a lot of us were imagining the home Grey Cup being the pinnacle of the last decade spent building up the club at the box office and on the field. Especially after 3 years of close but no cigar. It seemed a given that they would go all out coming into this past offseason, and they just..didn’t do anything.
