-Jets lost 7-0 last time they were in Nashville

-Game time 7PM

-Scribes calling it most important game of the year...so far

-Helle to start

-Beyak still missing

Apparently the night before the last Predators game Buff and some other unnamed players were spotted out late doing shots at a Nashville bar. Hence why they looked like tired bums in the 7-0 loss. This from an eye witness. 

Hope they stayed out of the bars last night.

I hope so too. These guys are getting paid big bucks to play hockey.....if they want to go drinking, do it on a night that isn't before a game. It's too bad they lst to the Ducks. If they had beaten them and won tonight, they'd be 3 points out of a playoff spot.

Haven't seen the game yet. Looks like Helle stood on his head. 

Jets absolutely got owned. Helle the only reason it wasn't a Nashville ass wooping. Not feeling good about this team at all. If helle can stand on his head for 30 more wins... Jets have a chance..

 If not.. They are done.

And by have a chance you mean a chance at the 14th overall pick in this years draft!

Helle did what a good goalie should do allowed no goals in the first 10 minutes to keep the Jets in the game and continued through out the game.  Like the way he controlled his rebounds tonight. 

If Hutch starts, they have 3 minimum before the end of the first.

Hutch pav... anyone other than helle it's probably 3 4 5 0 after 1. Jets actually really good 5 on 5 this season. Big if here but if helle can stand on his head and If the jets stop taking penalties... they are a playoff team but.... Helle can't every night and the Jets won't. .. they will finish bottom 5 imo 

I said earlier, play him every game until the b2b on the 14th-15th. If Pavs is back, give him the game on the 15th in Minny. If not, Play Helle both games.

Jets didn't look good 5v5 tonight in my opinion.

Plus, after the 15th the next two games are the 18th and 21st so lots of time for Helle to rest between games and Pavs to get better to back up Helle.

The most important game of the year is a win for our team.

Anyone else think that Schief tipped Chairot's shot and then it was tipped by the Pred.

Send Pav to light it up in AHL for conditioning stint and see what you can get for him at trade deadline - $4 mill is too much for a backup

 

Helle should be our number 1 goalie going forward. The kid is amazing and gives this mediocre Jets team a chance to win every game he starts ...

I thought there were multiple 3 star picks now. Don't the Jets get all 3 at home if they win?

No. I've been to games where the Jets win and They get 2 stars but never all 3, it's rare i think unless the Jets absolutely dominate another team, I remember going to a CBJ game last season, Hutch got the first star (shut out), a Jet got the second star and Jacket got the third star...

 Minny game, Jets got 2 stars, Minny got 1... It seems to be that way... If you win, Home team gets 2 stars, away gets 1. Very rarely have i Seen a clean sweep for the Jets in terms of the 3 stars of the game at home. I've been to (let me count my tix lol) 10 games since last season, maybe only 2 of them had Jets as all 3 stars. 

Only Helle should have got a star... Jets were totally outplayed except for the last three minutes
