So who's all going to what next week?

 

There's 3 of us making the roadie from Calgary next Wednesday. So far, other than the game itself, we've just got tix for the TD MB Social at the Convention Centre on Friday afternoon. Hoping they have the Jets game on a big screen, as the Jets play Minnie that afternoon. Either way, should be a good time!

 

A lot of the team parties, like Riderville and the Atlantic thing....are cheap or free....so we'll be at a lot of those I suspect. 

 

What's everyone else taking in?

Don't worry I got ideas that can please anyone. Safe to assume that someone who likes IPAs likes the hoppiness, well there's a wide range of beers with a varying level of hops. 

So now we gotta organize a tastin'....

I'll see what I can come up with....cops are twitchy about bringing booze across borders, so I generally don't, but I'll talk to Dave and see what he thinks about putting together a Taster Pack. 

 

On this topic, have you seen the "Manitoba Social" taster pack that Ft Garry and Half Pints are doing? I literally don't want to drink anything else ever again.....

For anyone interested, I've been told the Thursday night Spirit Of Edmonton Social (free cover!) is the place to be. Was talking to General Taylor John about heading over there for a hang. So hopefully we'll see a few MBB faces over there!

Spirit of Edmonton's usually one of the best parties in GC week. Have fun guys.

Not sure if this has been posted in another thread - a summary of Drew Edwards and his cohorts hitting all the team parties in one day.  John Cornish joined them at about the half way point.  Great read.

Nice little article... but, unless I missed something, I couldn't help but notice they didn't go to TD Manitoba...
